The conversations in this show are so real, from everyone not just Ae-Sun (IU) and Gwan-Sik (Park Bo-Gum), no wonder it won so many awards! And Gwan-Sik's parents eloped at night also which explains the chat between Ae-Sun, Gyeong-Ok (Gwan-Sik's sister) and Geum-Myeong (Ae-Sun/Gwan-Sik's daughter). Seb is the real GOAT for noticing that, during the conversation between Ae-sun and Gwan-sik’s mother, it was the latter who had planted the seed of doubt, and that’s why Ae-sun said all those harsh things to Gwan-sik! His whole speech about it later, when we finally found out what Gwan-sik’s mother had said to our main character, was so insightful and really hit home! For the second episode in a row, Seb has impressed me with his profound and accurate takes on the main couple’s relationship! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

30:44 — “I feel like I’m being broken up with.” — A totally valid reaction to that scene! 😭😭😭 And Seb’s reaction when the subtitles said, “She gazed at her 18-year-old first love, whom she would never see again,” was TOP-TIER! “WHAT THE FUCK” about Gwan-sik’s possible death at sea at 57:15 was so relatable! They did us all dirty by making us believe they didn’t end up together! 😭😭😭 “If it is not a true love, I don’t know what is.” — YES, Ben! This is one of the most heartwarming love stories I’ve ever seen in any form of media! “Who cares about a gold medal when I’ve got my golden girl?” — I mean, can Gwan-sik possibly be any more perfect than he already is? He’s so precious and the greenest of all green flags! 😭💚 “I’m in this relationship right now” from Seb at the end of the episode absolutely cracked me up! He’s so invested, and I LOVE IT!

P.S. If Seb didn’t cry for the first time on this channel during the finale of When Life Gives You Tangerines, I’d be in shock and start questioning whether he even has a heart! 😅 Because there’s no way someone could get through that episode without shedding at least a couple of tears!
