I think it´s strange so little people are commenting. Yeah, I love Reid.....Gideon is a great mentor and Penelope is still more in the background but that changes soon. My best friend from long ago had such a crush on Reid because he was a model and looked good. I thought that was sad. I like his character for his brains and idiosyncracies, him being on the spektrum, I always identified and sympathized with him. In season two there is a two parter I absolutely love. And kinda don´t like how they often use Reid´s behavior as a punchline for laughs. I can follow him and feel I could have said something similar (not that I have his IQ or am a genius, just also on the spectrum and an obsession with knowledge) and it´s disheartening to see it as a joke. I think today it would be written differently but the show was from 2005...and sometimes it shows but they also undermine stereotypes sometimes or like in tribe undermined the idea that it was done by an indigenous person...persons. I love his empathy for mentally ill people and empathy in general. I feel the same. But I also made up stories where I changed the ending....because I didn´t like how it was handled.
