If you could get a remake for any anime, which would you pick? Something you already like, or something with missed potential?

Lyza

Favorite and least favorite anime tropes, with examples!

Colton Lambert

Thoughts on sports anime as a whole? My favorite anime of all time is Haikyuu and I just finished Hajime no Ippo: Fighting Spirit. I’ve realized that it is 100% my favorite genre of anime. I think the genre appeals to a unique fan base since usually sports fans and anime fans don’t hang with each other, but it seems the genre gets dismissed very quickly by some. Thoughts?

Do you prefer waiting till a show is done airing so you can binge watch it. Or do you like watching the show as it airs. So you watch one episode a week. I think both have pros and cons and I really think it just depends on the show.

Paisios Hensersky

I routinely see YouTube Videos that say "Anime was a mistake!" Do you agree with these arguments? What are the good and bad that have come about as a result of anime?

SomeCallMeGON

Is there any piece of media (game, live action show/movie, book, etc) that you feel would benefit being handed to an anime studio? If so, what media and what studio?

SomeCallMeGON

What is something you believe anime captures better than western cartoons, and vice versa?

Jirrij

Top romance anime!

Masterdramon

How (if at all) has working within the English anime dubbing industry impacted your experience as a viewer? In an anime that you're also cast in, does the fact that you needed to approach a portion of it from a very technical standpoint affect how it impacts you when you watch the whole thing in context? And while I know you primarily use the Japanese track with subtitles when viewing for recreation, on the occasions where you do watch an English dub, does your professional experience color how you evaluate certain performances?

SomeCallMeGON

When a show or movie is announced, what gets you excited the most about the production? Example: favorite seiyuus, the studio, a notable animator or director

Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray has really blown up in Japan (as has the rest of the franchise, but if you're going to watch anything from it, I would really suggest this spinoff), but its popularity in English-speaking anime circles is really low. What do you think makes the difference between a globally popular anime (such as One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Dragon Ball, etc) and a popular anime only to Japanese audiences (like Uma Musume CinGray, Detective Conan, and Saint Seiya)? Is it simply TV scheduling and sub/dub access, or is there a plot/genre reason?

naisam

Can't recall if this a video yet, but what would be your top recommendations for newbies to anime? Im always curious to what other people like to recommend as there is so many bits in anime that may seem very strange to people who are unfamiliar with the storytelling/archetypes.

Blake hutcheson

Would love to hear your breakdown some of your own performances. What went into them, some of the choices you made, stories from production, what things you learned along the way, what knowledge you might bring into past performances now that you’ve had additional experience etc.

Blake hutcheson

Would love to hear your thoughts on anime’s where you’ve consumed both the Sub and Dub. What things you noticed/enjoyed from each viewing experience. I tend to watch both dub and sub for shows I like and get a different experience from each that is rewarding for different reasons.

Lady

Wouldn't mind getting your take, conversationally, on anime that get dropped after only a couple seasons, and whether it's generally worth it to read the manga instead in those instances or just hold on to hope it might get picked up again.

Brendan Roberts

Not exactly anime related, but how do you go about dusting/cleaning all your figurines? Is it as tedious as it seems?

Coleten McGuire

Thoughts on how they've handled the end of Haikyuu? Especially with the last movie being 2027.

Caiden

I recommend watching and reviewing some of these. I forget which ones you've seen, though I know you haven't seen some of these: Japan Sinks: 2020 Zombie Land Saga Arakawa Under the Bridge Dandadan Occult Academy To Your Eternity Ya Boy Kongming! Wolf Children When Marnie Was There The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Origin: Spirits of the Past The Garden of Words The Place Promised in Our Early Days Children Who Chase Lost Voices Mirai Only Yesterday Big Fish and Begonia Fireworks The Legend of Hei The Legend of Hei II The Glassworker Look Back The Magnetic Rose The Anthem of the Heart ARCO Hotarubi no Mori e Spy x Family Ergo Proxy Brand New Animal Inuyashiki Fire Force Revolutionary Girl Utena The Art of Murder The Colors Within Promare Love is War Whisper of the Heart Some of Doraemon Wolf's Rain Erased Fruits Basket (2019) Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai (2020 series) Sailor Moon Crystal Pokemon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (might not hold up to memory, and it's not a masterpiece or anything, being a Pokemon movie; still, curious to hear how you feel about it) Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea (same note as the previous one)

Mango Foam

Looking forward to your reaction to the witch hat atelier anime

Lyza

Would be awesome to see manga discussions, if possible! Similar videos like "I watched 5 XYZ..." or "Top 5 ZYX..." that you've done for anime but for manga. I've picked up some great manga reccs from your anime vids, I'd love to get more.

Jonathan Nguyen

I would love that you talk about more original anime like Ninja Kamui, Lazarus, or The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.

Earnest Citizen

Maybe favorite anime originals (I.e. Shows not based on a Manga, light novel, etc)?

Colton Lambert

Thoughts on over the top animation? It feels like a lot of modern anime go a bit too crazy with the animation. One piece is a good example, when they switched animators originally during Wano it looked beautiful but now the fight scenes are so over the top that it genuinely hard to tell what’s happening on screen.

Tori Williams

Maybe more covering specific studios and what you like of their work? I'm on such a Science Saru kick rn, Sanda has been so good.

Miy Eterp

U got food channel already 😂

Anubis 1101

do you have a list, perhaps on MAL or something, for what youve already seen?

Ironwolf

Must watch more Gundam shows. Then Rank said Gundam shows. Please.

Tail Chaser

I know you like sports anime. I know you like heartfelt anime. I'm just wondering where the Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 2 review is. (I'd recommend skipping Season 1, you don't need to see it first to start Season 2 which sets the tone for all the other series/OVA/Movies that come after)

Jonathan Negron

I think we can all agree that you and everybody else would benefit from watching Hajime no Ippo. Now that's a sports anime that really hits all the right notes.

Matthew Ely

I think you'd really like Run with the Wind, a sports anime featuring college students (gasp) who gradually learn to enjoy long-distance running. Earnest, grounded, and fun to watch.

Teacol

I love all of your anime-related content and am happy to have more of it! Would love to hear your thoughts on the anime: My Clueless First Friend. Its one of my favorites, and its a super cute chill one, highly recommend. I'm excited to see anything you put out though!

purplealchemist

Hi Sung Won, I'm watching Ouran again for the millionth time and I recall a past video where you said the series meant a lot to you. Could you explain what the series means to you and why you hold it close?

Padpa

I'm super curious about your opinions on BanG Dream: MyGO!!!!! and the sequel, Ave Mujica. I believe you've played the game in the past? If you haven't seen them yet, I highly recommend them.

Tom

What do you think of the idea where people see Gurren Lagann as a response to Evangelion's bleakness? especially in respect to Simon and Shinji's apathetic paralleles and how they diverge, and the role of Kamina.

Eric

Just saw your short on the Umamusume anime, and while I haven't watched the anime (just started Cinderella Gray), I have a feeling based on the thoughts you shared that you'd enjoy the Beginning of a New Era movie which retells the story of the '01 Classic Races.

hoodieinthecorner

I would love to hear your opinions on “From the New World” if you’ve ever seen it. Also if you haven’t watched “A Place Further than the Universe” I think that is a show right up your alley.
