@2:26 Fun fact this part of the song "You give me life" is sampled in their other song "INTRO : Persona" that you heard on the Map of the soul : Persona album ^^ They sampled their own song basically :) @22:14 I see what you mean about following the concept and theme of the album, which is among other : teenage love...etc but I think one of the overarching theme of the trilogy is just "teenage angst". So I think it fits somehow. By the way this song ("Tomorrow" is among my fav BTS instrumentals, Suga really did his thing on this prod) "Cypher pt.2" basically mocks K-rappers, who think they're above Suga and RM specifically, since they used to be underground and are now "idol rappers". K-rappers decided that the rapline of BTS, shouldn't call themselves "rapper" or "hip-hop" considering that they're part of the idol industry. Which is ironic, because first of all, who are they to decide what is Hip-Hop or not ? Second, a lot of these K-rappers, sports a very racist, and cliché image of what Hip-Hop is and how a rapper should behave (through the clothing, hairstyle or their lyrics), and appropriating black culture. Suga's verse specifically, take a dig at the rapper B-Free, who was one their loudest critics. I'm sorry I don't know if that was clear, but just thinking about how this song came to be and the context behind, get me heated... “Spine Breaker” is basically a song that criticizes today's young generation who pressure their parents to buy them expensive, trendy clothes just to look cool at school. "Spine breaker" imply that the parents work so hard to pay for these items that it’s like they’re “breaking their backs.” It's a lot of humour and sarcasm in these lyrics.
