I can't help but compare how comfortable they are in this live (with each other and with us) to the way they were awkwardly silent in their very first weverse live. Cortis has come so far and this is only the beginning of their careers! 🔥

This is my new favorite live as well 😭 As for what you asked about, I'm pretty sure they were making fun of Martin's glasses when they said he looked like a "poop fly" or a dung fly. Dung flies have large oval eyes so I can see the resemblance lol. Also every time Martin reached for the camera he was deleting inappropriate comments in the chat. There were unfortunately so many weird and nasty comments about the boys in this live, and they saw and blocked lot of them. I'm glad the boys were vocal about their discomfort with gross comments like that during this live...and hopefully that'll get them to stop because this fanbase has honestly gotten wayyy too comfortable with making suggestive remarks 😬

This live was honestly one of the funniest they’ve ever done—like, hands down 😂
 All the members were so tired that they were just saying random stuff, which was already hilarious, but what really killed me was how they kept going “haengnim, haengnim” while mimicking that specific tone and dialect you hear in Korean crime/gangster movies lol. The subtitles translated “haengnim” as just “hey,” but it actually has a very specific nuance in Korean. It’s more like a slangy, tough-guy way of saying “big bro” or “boss,” the kind of thing you’d hear in gangster contexts. Originally, the word comes from ‘Hyung’ (the term a male uses for an older male, whether they are family or close in age), but in Korea, men living in certain provinces often use the dialect version ‘Haengnim’ instead. It’s definitely not something kids their age would normally say, so I have no idea where they even picked that up 😂 And around 25:45, when they’re doing the handcuff pose and speaking in dialect, that’s actually referencing a really famous movie meme in Korea (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJJWAe0xqVM around 0:40–0:50 in that clip). Like I’ve said before, it’s kind of a shame that the translations can’t fully capture these nuances… if that came across properly, I think international fans would enjoy it so much more. I really wish HYBE would hire professional translators for weverse live ASAP. Also, like you mentioned, I loved seeing James sitting in the center for once and being more active in the live. Having the oldest stuck in the middle while the 08z and 09z kept exchanging looks and messing around with each other was so funny 😂 39:31 
They looked at themselves wearing sunglasses and said they looked like “poop fly (ttong-pari)”, and then joked that for their next album, instead of “Ma-ttong-tin” (since Martin got that nickname during the first album era from stepping on poop 😂), they should go with “Ma-ttong-pari.” I was dying lol. Anyway, this live had so many funny moments that I was laughing the whole time, but at the same time, it was kind of upsetting to see how many weird comments there were. It felt like the members were getting drained by them. Most of the members are still minors, yet there were so many sexual comments or people overanalyzing their chemistry and shipping them in weird ways. Martin actually called it out like 3–4 times during the live, and since this keeps happening, it feels like the members have become more sensitive to it, which honestly makes me really sad. I just hope none of them get hurt and that they can keep this bright, energetic side of themselves for a long, long time 😢

Professional translations for weverse lives would be AMAZINGG, they could post them to their youtube channel as they do with their vlogs I don't speak a lick of Korean and the auto-generated subs kinda suck lol so I usually use context clues to try and get what they're saying...but lowkey I just end up laughing anyways whether I understand the joke or not 😭
