Dog Fest (which is exactly what it sounds like) took place over the weekend in Shepherdstown, and I had plans to draw dogs all day Sunday! Alas, the tent I ordered never arrived, and it rained all day. So, literal rain check; maybe next year!

In the weeks leading up to Dog Fest, I asked some friends to send me pics of their pups so I could practice and figure out how long it takes me (about 10 minutes to draw, 10 minutes to color, although I went a little nuts on Bernie up there). It was fun! I hope I can do it next year!

Just in case you're about to ask: I am NOT able to draw your dog at this time, sorry! Boldfaced not because I'm yelling, just to bring attention to it so nobody's time is wasted. :) Y'all know if I open up commissions, my patrons will hear about it first! <3

You've already done a magnificent one of our departed pup and current kitty overlord, but will definitely request more when/if you decide. I seriously love how you draw animals and capture their essence.

Love these! Holding out hope for open commissions, since I would love to see your take on my cat son :)

Love the doggy pics. You really capture their personalities.

Sorry we decided to miss dog fest because of the weather.

Know what your dags need? A caravan! Periwinkle Blue, of course. :D

HAH! Thank you, because I couldn't understand a lick of that movie!

Not only do I now want to add my name for when you ever decide to open up for dog (or other animal) commissions, but I also couldn't help but wonder what I would look like in dog form. I think because, as Tiffany mentioned, you really seem to capture their essence. This post was a ray of light and a great start to my day. Thanks Danielle.
