I gave myself the weekend off from my daily drawings in the little daily sketchbook, since I spent the whole time drawing hourly comics!

I'm happy to be back with my cats, but my body isn't. The all-night contortions I bend myself into to accommodate two cats as a human body pillow are kicking my ass a lot more than getting back to my yoga practice is!

Someone supplied the prompt "pigs flying backwards" so I thought I'd let a pair of in-love frogs ride a sleeping flying pig whose wings were attached the wrong way. The most obvious solution.

A few days ago my dear friend Boum ended her long-running autobio webcomic Boumeries (also on Insta and her own site), so here's a little homage to celebrate her wonderful little comic that brought me so much joy! I can't wait to see what she makes next. :)

To my Sneak Peek tier ($5+ patrons): I'm gonna share some of my character turnarounds that I worked on while I was in Denmark, as well as finally getting back to figure drawing tonight! I missed it so much!

Yeah, I've got to take a break from sleeping with our cats at least once a week. Fortunately, my partner will take them that night, otherwise all three cats will fight, two will try to dig through carpet to get in and one will yowl all. night. long. to get into the bedroom. :-P You have my complete sympathies.

Ooohh god, that's a racket!! You have MY sympathies! The only thing I need to do now that Pip has outgrown his kitten tendencies is make sure he's well fed at night; then he won't scream through the door in the morning!

Boum

Thank you again Danielle <3 <3

RoofPig

That PIG, those FROGS, omg.

I'm completely with you on the cat thing, mine mummify me by sleeping one on either side, on top of the blankets, so i'm completely trapped and can't move my legs. XD

dcorsetto

YES that's exactly what we end up with after a few hours of Half Over Half Under!

I _kind_ of enjoy the first loagy day home after a long trip. Probably because I've specifically scheduled it as a recovery day of naps and waking up and never knowing exactly what time it is and getting takeout for every meal and only unpacking my carryon just enough to retrieve either the charger I need or the UK candy bar I suddenly remember that I bought for the flight home but didn't eat.

Yeeessssss I'm in this boat! I was a little bummed that I had to spend my first full 24-hour day cleaning the fuck out of my house (the cats tracked litter EVERYWHERE), but that half-day back home eating sushi and falling asleep Whenever was... very nice. ... I'm still not unpacked.

Andy Ihnatko

I usually don't fully unpack until I start to wonder what happened to that shirt I wear all the time but haven't spotted in the laundry for the past few weeks...

It's the rare unclenching of the Freelancer Fist. The tight grip on your nerves that rasps "Must work...must be productive...self-employment requires self-discipline...surely there's something I shouldn't be putting off..."
