Whenever I come up with another potential name for him, I write it out on that drawing I posted the other day.

I've written a few others below the drawing to get a feel for them:

I think it took me a few weeks to name Pip, and Pip suits Pip perfectly, so I should stop sweating it and just let it happen when it happens. :)

An old friend commented that he looks like a guy in a shitty skeleton costume, and if Guy In A Shitty Skeleton Costume wasn't so long, we'd have a name for this guy already.

How about Skelly, short for "Guy in a Shitty Skeleton Costume"? Or Skellington, if you want a longer name to shorten. Or maybe Sheldon, containing the essence of the longer phrase but still being a name sort of name.

Shitty skeleton costumes make me think of David S. Pumpkins, which makes me think of “Hanks” — probably not the right fit, but ForrestWalterOliverNewCat *does* have similarly kind eyes :p Whatever their name ends up being thanks for sharing the photos along the way 😸

What’s his personality like? We named our cat Noodle because he has some balance issues and when you pick him up he kinda flops around like a limp noodle. I guess that’s not a personality trait, but it weirdly fits his personality anyways.

Oooh I like Spirit! Lol I love the explanation. My sis-in-law's best friend is a costume designer for Spirit Halloween, I'll have to ask her if they're ever encouraged to make some costumes intentionally shitty!

After the sewing shelf fiasco, I might go with Thimble (Timmy? Thumbelino??). I love old-fashioned human names for pets though. And Cricket and Chicken gave me a good chuckle.
