Are you ready to read about my boring life? ARE YOU READY?? Spoiler, I did NOT leave the house, even once, even to stick my head outside, the whole day.

Here we go.

I always go to bed too late on New Comics Eve.

I was a good girl and ate the leftovers first. (I misspelled "immediately" because I was lettering when Luke called, rookie mistake.)

Definition of a Cartoonist, in brief.

I forgot what it's like to have a kitten who hasn't learned that a plate of food on the table means it is NOT for him. We fought.

Midnight Chicken should be on his official paperwork, even if I call him something else.

Did any of you do hourly comics yesterday? Or do you have a favorite set by another artist? Lemme know below! (I'm about to treat myself to Lucy Knisley's - hers are always the best!)

AHH bless you for always doing these, I enjoy them soooo! (I've never done one myself, I'm embarrassed to admit!)

Angela Bullock

I actually think Ollie is a great name for new kitten! So many did great hourlies, one of my favorites besides yours is Abby Howard!

Sarah Swett

Yes on two counts. Lucy’s comics ARE fantastic. Yours too. And I did ‘em myself too in a sort of half-assed way, not posted but fun.

Melody

10am is EXACTLY how my 7-9am went this morning. Love them kitties.

dcorsetto

OOo thanks, I'll look for hers!

dcorsetto

Not embarrassing at all! I always miss one - hourly or 24-hour comics day. You'll do it when you're ready!!

Sarah Puls

I wanted so bad to do hourlies but my damn carpal tunnel is killing me. Ironically because I drew too much over the weekend 😅😅

daniel tal

@thetouringtest on instagram also made a neat hourly comic

Zombicatures by Stan Yan

I have yet to do this. I’m so bad. I let deadlines and freelance derail me.

Katie McMahon

I got too ambitious with my hourlies and only made it to the 1:00 one, haha! I had fun with it, though!

Deven

I did some! I only got to 12:15 yesterday, but I plan to do more today. @ctgraytoons on twitter.

dcorsetto

Those are great! Ooo I like the refried bean POV.

kaitou

Thanks. And thanks for the link for Lucy's hourlies. I caught most of them on twitter, yesterday, but missed a few.

Ralph

The segment on e-mail is so true to life. Your comics on this could have been about my Dear Wife.

Tudza

Maybe just Midnight. "After Midnight, we're gonna let it all hang out."

Amy Crook

I keep wanting to, but never seem to find the time/brains. Maybe next year I'll have an iPad and can do them digitally!

Cab

I... I love this....... so much ;_;

Sheri Spangenberg

Name him Midnight Chicken, you'll continually make your vets smile! I put Teddy Pickles on my orange boys, and the vets and techs always get a kick out of it, and it makes us smile to see it on the paperwork. Even if most the time we just call him Teddy (or stinkman. or boy. or himbo.)

I have a friend who maybe checks his email once a month (he's always worked either manual labor, kitchen or retail) and he rolls his eyes about my email burden. He has NO IDEA he's in the minority of our age group.

Jamie Noguchi

Holy crap! Congrats on doing hourly comics!

TinaFoo Spencer

Midnight Chicken is the best name ever! Also, imMEADiately just means "doing things now while drinking mead" right?

David Neale-Lorello

You never saw POBWF before? I cry every time and it's not even my generation ("Okay, Boomer"). Hope you liked it. ❤️ Fabulous comix. Your header had gestural qualities that reminded me of Hank Ketcham.

dcorsetto

Oohh you know how to compliment me well!! Thanks!

Swati Shrestha

I did hourly comics for the first time after being reminded of it by your Patreon email! So thank you. I love hourly comics day, but never remember when it is.

dcorsetto

Oh I'm so glad to hear that!! I have a little post-it note that moves to the next year's February calendar as soon as it's over, otherwise I would tooootally forget.

Minzoku Bokumetsu

I never do it bc it's my husband's birthday D= (also my ambitious project is to get ONE drawing done for a friend's birthday in March, and so far this year I've drawn one face out of four + full bodies yaaaay)
