Ollie -LOVES- Pip, and there's nothing Pip can do about it, except this.

OMG the enforced bathtime! Our boys do that to each other and it's equally adorable and terrifying to behold. Why doesn't the tux get to go outside?

YES!! It looks like love until you realize it's a roughhousing competition! Ollie's probably going to stay indoors. Pip is the PERFECT outdoor cat - stays in the yard, comes when I call him, is getting lazier and doesn't have much interest in chasing birds. Most importantly, he's easy to catch. Ollie may as well have been named Rocket or Comet; he's impossible to catch, and when Luke let him out (snuck around behind my back!), he ended up under our neighbor's deck. Based on Ollie's first few days here, stuffing himself inside my couch, I figured he's probably going to be one of those cats who would hide in a bush for days if he got startled. My heart isn't up for that!!

LUCKILY... Ollie doesn't cry to go outside. He's perfectly happy hanging out next to the screen door, and bolts away from it when you try to open it. Making him the perfect INDOOR cat. ;)

I feel that. We're constantly giving our guys the boot away from the open door if we go out or even get the mail. Our tux is so fast that I swear, he actually teleports through solid objects rather than running from point A to point B. I have this fear of one of them deciding to climb up one of our 80' tall ash trees. They're such adorable assholes.

I laughed out loud at this one - I love how you draw them! This is EXACTLY the way my three cats talk to us - and of course we understand them!

lol this works perfect for Pip then! Lol our cat is a forced indoor cat- his name is Noodle and he is a Noodle, he’s got balance issues so he wouldn’t be able to protect himself if he got outdoors but if he had it his way he would be out there all day. It’s cute that Ollie loves Pip so much though, even if Pip isn’t always a fan.

My cat can go out if she wants to, but what she really wants is to have the back door open all the time.. Y' know, just in case...

dcorsetto

It could DEFINITELY have gone the other direction, and I keep reminding Pip that! ;) (Noodle's such a good name for a balance-challenged feline.)

I fee like this is just karma for how much Pip wanted to be in with Ellie constantly during his kittenhood. It also happened to Pod, who was a jerk to Belladonna for years, and now has had to cope with Mal giving him the exact same treatment. XD

dcorsetto

SO MUCH. He's got at least two years before he's paid up! (Love your pets' names!)

I bet Ollie's skittish about outside because of the stories Pip has told him. "The squirrels prefer the safety of ranged weapons...crossbows, mostly. The raccoons like to make it personal. They want to fight you close-up, see the fear in your eyes. That's how I lost part of this ear, you know: I dispatched three of them but a fourth managed to get in a good swipe with a straight razor. Fair play to the little devil; them's just the rules of the backyard. Say, wanna go out exploring with me? I'm almost done sharpening my claws and getting in touch with my angry and violent side in case we run into trouble..."
