I really like these two. This vignette story style is nice. We get to visit with different people around the town. Will we eventually have overlaps where we can see an interaction from two different pov or is that a surprise? Either way I look forward to everyone's stories, most everyone...

I like the subtleties you throw into these stories...the deep blue background when she's unsure, the introduction of the red when she's feeling the love, to the full red when it's all about the love. Really nice addition that subconsciously informs the reader. Just awesome.

Sometimes their relationship makes me nervous but then there are moments like these where they communicate clearly; Meghan brings up her anxieties and Berto explains and I just breathe a sigh of relief that this didn’t fester into a big fight and they’re both clearly trying so hard for each other. The check-in he did, asking about her comfort level with joining his family after this overwhelming brunch, was a really good move on his part!
