Okay then. We have a neighborhood group made up of 5 streets' worth of houses. Any resident can be part of it, but there's a core group of "regulars," some of whom have lived here since the late 1970s. Last week, we got together for the first time in over a year for one of our wine/bourbon socials on someone's back porch. Very casual, very fun. Old people, and a few younger ones, getting lit. I should probably mention that at least 3 of our members work in the bourbon industry in a management capacity. LOL We do live in Louisville, after all.

oh my god, I just became a patron like yesterday after being a fan for yeeeears and im re-reading elephant town after only seeing it on Instagram so far, and I scroll down to see MBΨ as a poll choice here!? I was a MEMBER of MBΨ in college (4.5 whole years, baby!) and made all of my favorite/best friends through that group, it feels incredibly strange to see it mentioned in the secret patreon poll of one of my fav comickers! this kinda made my night haha :)

Aww what!! This was such an unexpected comment to find, thanks Allison! (And thanks for joining me here!! <3 ) I pored over all the fraternal groups' descriptions to pick one that sounded like it would fit Shepherd University, which doesn't have a whole lot of Greek life going on. Anyway, I'm glad my careful choice resonated with one person!!
