Watercolor Birthday! (NSFW) (Patreon)

Sometimes my birthday falls on a Wednesday, and those are the best birthdays, because I get to wrap up the evening with three hours of figure drawing and hanging out with Michael, my oldest pal in town.

(Actually I wrapped up my day AFTER figure drawing, with Ryan, who agreed to a late-night viewing of Stingray Sam with me.)

We've been blessed with great models lately! We hadn't drawn this gal in a minute and I'm grateful she came back last night. :) Michael threw me the reins since it was my birthday, so we did four 5-minutes and then just rolled right into 20-minute poses the rest of the night.

That last one was actually 15 minutes, and the one I was happiest with! Her back had SOOOO many cool shadows! (Don't worry, her foot was up on a cushioned bench!)

Maybe I'll just do watercolor for every figure drawing session this year... it's humbling to not be able to finish a piece in 20 minutes!
