(Not to ruin the lovey moment, but: this is one of those pages that I spent all week drawing  and redrawing, only not know how to color it in the end. I'll almost certainly recolor this at some point, but for now, finished is better than perfect!)

I love the dress, tossed aside. Since we got to see it so much last week. And there are no panties. :)

Andy Ihnatko

I love the specificity of that nightstand. Great choice!

Julie Howard

Beautiful. Just beautiful. The darkness, the light - wow.

Steve Boyko

I like the detail of the two pairs of shoes, side by side, together.

Ruth Merriam

I hope they have his nose. That's some sexy jawline, Danielle.

I still have a lot of these in my office, but to me they scream COLLEGE NIGHTSTAND. :)

Hugh Eckert

Beautiful. Also, aww, so sweet...

Love the tumbled unfolding of panels from top to bottom. Since you're mulling over the coloring, maybe something similar so it feels like a spectrum? Or a hint of the last panel's color in the first, and vice versa, since they inform each other? Just random thoughts on a first viewing. - - Neal

Yeah, I think the direction is right, I just need to tweak values and saturation... and of course I have no idea how to do that. ;) Thanks, Neal!

Ha, like the draft of my novel... I have ideas about needing to change some things for the better, but the how to do it is the real trick! - - Neal

That is SO reassuring to hear, thank you! I didn't have a direct reference for that one, I just perused a bunch of "wedge sandal" ebay listings and asked my boyfriend to take a picture of his shoe rack!

The effort shows! Love the page panel composition as it relates to the story.
