My housemate Mark featured prominently in this week's batch! He is: a professional clown. Now you know.

And I suppose so will whoever it sells to. (Anybody got $850k and wanna be my neighbor?)

Here's me near the fancy tub that overlooks my yard!

Speaking of tubs, Tubside Fireplace was my favorite part. The stairs from the first floor hearth open directly into this ridiculous bathroom, no door involved.

Oh but the library was ALSO my favorite part. Many favorite parts.

Pip the Brown Cat, formerly known as Pip the Black Cat.

Fennel LOVES A STRING.

She turned two years old a couple days after this, and look what she decided to give me for her birthday!

No strings attached!

Somehow I went 24 years living in this town without having to pull this move.

When Luke saw this strip I think he was concerned people would start to think he gave up teaching for clowning. Thus:

To be fair, Ryan is also often shirtless. Lotta shirtless bearded dudes in my life, I guess.

Kris lives very far away with his rad wife and two sweet kids now, so we don't see as much of Kris in my comics these days, but he was in a LOT of my old comics, including GWS! Shout if you remember his cameos!

Right?? Also the place is three stories and six thoooouuusand square feet?!?!

Hugh Eckert

That library... drool... Also, Tubside Fireplace would be a great name for a chill electronica band...

Those inlaid bookcases are a freaking dream. And they're lifted to minimize water damage if too much rain happens. I never go to open houses, I should do I can see other's interiors.

Middle school kids tend to suffer badly from the "I'm not a kid anymore" attitude, and eschew things they liked when they were younger, due to the fear of being considered a child. Some people never grow out of that.

Theadora

Wow! 2,000 sq ft per floor?

Theadora

They flat-out get SHAMED for liking "kid" things! That's one thing I remember well from the horrorshow that was my middle-school years! (Fortuntely I figured out that I was too weird to ever cut it *all* out of my life, so gave up even trying! I'm happy about that now.)

I got a few things outta this: - Danielle asked us who is willing to spend $850,000 to see her naked. 🤔 - I would kill for that library (but put up curtains to not see nakie Danielle). - Fennel is [this close] to becoming a lap cat. - Danielle has some kind of bearded-man attractant. (jess)

Laura J Testa-Reyes

Love the library, but sorry, not moving to West Virginia. Good price for a place that size, though.

dcorsetto

Even BIGGER per floor, and a little finished attic!

dcorsetto

I'm glad you read between the lines, Jess, because I am NOT buying curtains for my bedroom. (Which means I DEFINITELY need to meet the new owners so I can just accept my new reality.)

It takes longer than drawing a bun! Haha! I do usually have a braid in these days, though. Thanks for calling it B) way cool B)

Tim Pendergast

Perhaps I haven't been paying attention but I don't think you've mention Mark before. I think I would have remember you lived with a hunky bearded clown! Buying the house next door is quite tempting as your neighborhood seems to be infested with hunky shirtless bearded dudes!

dcorsetto

I found the good ones, and they all hang out within sight of the house! Huge bonus. (I mentioned Mark in the very first daily comic I posted this year, but I may not have introduced him!)

Tudza

I saw no reason not to have a trapeze set up just because, but one of the guys has a professional reason. That's pretty neat.

Tim Pendergast

Just checked and he's there! I guess I assumed he was Ryan. Guess I need to keep that Hunky Shirtless Bearded Dude Spotter strip handy!

Katherine

She also invited a bunch of internet randos to be her neighbor. :D

Minzoku Bokumetsu

I want that library but also I would fill it up immediately and still need more shelves =p

NJGR

Hey, we pay to be top-tier randos! 😉

Lisa

Do they fill the library of books just for the showing? Highly impressive amount of for-show books to have on hand and to take the time to place, if so.

Andy Ihnatko

"I just thought I'd drop by to welcome you to the neighborhood, drop off this zucchini bread I made with vegetables from my garden, and also tell you about this mole on my right buttcheek. I can't see back there real good. So I'm counting on you folks to take a long honkin' look at it from your library window every day and let me know if it's changing in shape or size. For your convenience, I'll press ham against the window every time I enter my bathroom, if I know that one of you are home at the time..."

M Aidan

Big love for the beardos!

dcorsetto

Ooh good question! It is SPRAWLING, like a live animal moving in super slow motion!! It looks great. :)
