Laura J Testa-Reyes

Omg. Her aunt is worse than I thought. No wonder she counts her coins to pay for cat food

Jessica Bernard

Stromboli's "I've seen some shit" face 🤣

Dean Reilly

Nicole's pants 😆😆😆

Hi, Danielle's Aunt Pam! 👋

NJGR

I'm glad all the work at figure drawing has made you the master of... cat expressions, Danielle. - - Neal ;)

Tim Pendergast

Miranda and her aunt remind me of some plans my last boss had: First he wanted to buy a panel truck with our stores advertised on its side for me to use (I was famous for my car troubles) to get around the restrictive sign ordinances and then later he wanted to buy a house with a big barn and use the barn for storage and then rent the house out to me and another co-worker. Thankfully, neither plan came to fruition so I wasn't forced to tell him I was violently uninterested in either plan. Our lives were (and still are) too intertwined already, without carrying it to either of these extremes!

Lisa Engle

Argh bad aunt that’s super illegal argh but I’m guessing she’s probably also not paying payroll taxes or anything either. My accountant brain is having fits, lol.

David Neale-Lorello

Is this a story about how someone who ignores others' boundaries (Nicole) could *help* someone whose boundaries have been obliterated (Miranda)? My psychologist brain is having fits!

Patricia Rodriguez

Haha! Stramboli's expression emerging from the carrier and then dashing off reminds me of my cats every vet visit. I love it!

THE AMOUNT OF TIME I SPENT ON THOSE DAMN THINGS

Nicole really gets under my skin, but I’m glad there is someone being concerned for Miranda about that situation. It might not be as untoward as it sounds but it sounds very not good

Ruth Merriam

Are they made from discarded curtains from the 1970s?

dcorsetto

They're made of discarded sheets from the 1990s! (My brother had sheets almost exactly in this pattern, but... milder.)

Ruth Merriam

And just like that, Miranda becomes Nicole's New Project. Also, I'm not loving the aunt right now. In fact, that last panel put a clench in my gut at how you managed to show Miranda withdrawing into herself and turning back time so she seems to be a child who cannot be trusted with her own affairs.

Amy Crook

Are you sure they're not just pants from the 90s? I remember the crazy comfy pants on so many dudes back then...
