Wouldn't call JoJo slop, but it's definitely an L move. It's a better experience not to pay and actually get the reactions I want on the day they're scheduled.

How is calling Heavenly Delusion "Tengoku" any less pretentious than referring to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure as "Jojo's?" Well, the entire notion that referring to something by colloquial shorthand is pretentious is just pretty backwards in the first place. It's like if you were to call me pompous if I said "math" instead of "mathematics."

The Jojo anime always has the challenge of animating highly detailed character designs, backgrounds, and now horses, which is why I don’t expect it do be as lavishly animated as shows with comparatively simpler designs like Jujutsu Kaisen (when it’s not Mahoraga) and Frieren. Jojo’s anime art style maintains complexity that other anime rarely attempt (even Dandadan simplifies its designs dramatically in the anime) so the fact it has as much sakuga as it does is already very impressive. The drawing quality is quite amazing so far.
