HAYASii looks *so* much like X-Japan that it actually lead to a bit of a copyright kerfluffle in Japan. The season 2 soundtrack still hasn't been released, and it's suspected that's due to the copyright issues.

No way they made Tony Iommi and David Bowie play power metal. This show pushes suspension of disbelief to a whole new level.

As a manga reader this is my favorite episode. You get SO MUCH of these characters from Ken really showing how much he’s grown as a person to how kind and friendly Jiji is to how diligent and driven Aira is and Momo is just being cool/funny as usual. Just condensed DanDaDan straight into the veins

DanDaDan stealing from X-Japan without their permission. How shameless can one be! X-Japan sure showed them, waive those copyright flags high, make YouTube proud! It's not like people might really enjoy the music from watching DanDaDan and then want to go out and support the artist right? No, that could never happen, at least not without first charging the studio royalties. Surely DanDaDan would never steal ideas from other shows and sources too, like say Ultraman and Ranma 1/2!

Actually there was some controversy about this, because the copyright owner is Sony that owns all sides (both songs and the producer of the anime (or whatever, I can't remember well). And the guy from X-Japan who started all this copyright thing was/is known for his overly sized ego and always creating fuss and "playing" his fan base against things that hurt his ego. There was a lot of things going on this issue on social media and the artist and the studio "apologized" to each other. Sony, the owner of all the stuff didn't say anything. In the end (at least in Japan) the artist was more criticized than the studio.

I think what most of the reactors didn't notice about Aira in this episode was that it was her who made the food for breakfast even after that long session of make-up. At the table she was the only one that was not in their pajamas and ready for the day.
