Niffty vs Aqua - Original Beat (Patreon)

Initially, the plan for Niffty vs Aqua was for it to be the first battle I produced fully by myself. I've been doing small production additions to most battles and have been practicing this year on personal throwaway projects. I previewed this beat on my second channel and a lot of people thought it was for Blossom vs Ness (it's not).

It was changed for four reasons:

1. Since it was for the 100 hour challenge, concerns were raised if it was allowed to begin working on the beat ahead of time. It turned into an idea for Niffty vs Aqua after I started, and it's not like leased beats are made within the time frame, so I do not believe it would have been "against the rules" (nor would I have really cared on a personal level) but I decided for the sake of the team that it was better to not take the risk.

The beat contains an uncleared sample of an old electronic song. It's unlikely that the song would have been taken down or for this to have caused any issues, but with the channel and operation growing I'm taking more precautions to ensure potential sample clearance issues down the line are mitigated.

It doesn't fit the characters very well, at least at the stage I got it to. I planned to rework it a little to make it fit better, but at that point it felt like trying to force a square peg in a round hole.

It's just not very good. It's not terrible, but it's not up to the standard I set for the series. I'll keep working at it!
