Art with Flo

I am playing with the different aspects of Procreate. What a powerful program. This little painting was an experiment using some of the things I’ve learned in the tutorials. I hope to develop my own style. This is a start and a stretch. Realism is my strength.

This was a delightful tutorial. I had an extra challenge because I couldn’t download the palette or brushes. It was a great stretch as it forced me to find compatible colors and brushes. Now I need to take what I learned and apply it to a different bird or animal.

Did this one but didn’t make it a “sticker”

After doing the Cute Bird tutorial I decided to do my own bird. I have lots of cardinals in my neighborhood and yard. This was fun. Not as painterly as Flo’s tutorial. I’m slowly shifting from my overly detailed paintings.

I loved this tutorial and working on the layers, shadows and textures. I noticed I need to work on faces but so far I’m really happy with the result. :)
