Content

Wow, I can't believe how fast the month has passed! Thank you so much for being here and for your (continued) support.

My studio is finally up and running (even though it's not entirely finished yet) so I've been really busy recording loads of videos. All so I can take most of the month August off and spend time with my family. It's a joy to work in my new studio and I feel like I'm working way more efficient and fast now.

I hope you have enjoyed this month's tutorials, let me know which one was your favorite 😊

In case you have missed any of this months tutorials, let's look back on them! (click the titles to go to the tutorial directly)!

Tutorials

Painterly Still Life

We started the month with a painterly still life of this jar of honey and tangerines.

Painterly Fall Landscape

We had more painterly fun with this fall landscape, it's always nice to work with expressive brush strokes.

Coloring Grayscale Paintings

In this new technique tutorial video I showed you how you can easily color a grayscale painting.

Sunny Dog

I thought it was about time for another animal painting, so this month we painted this happy dog in the sun.

Easy Japanese Street

We ended the month with this easy Japanese street illustration, which we created from a photo. An easy and fun technique!

What's coming in August?

I'll be taking most of the month off in August, at least I won't be recording any videos. Of course I have already recorded everything for the entire month, so you won't notice a thing.

I've got some cute stuff lined up for you, but also a landscape and something painterly. I think we'll have lots of fun 😊
