In this 40 minute video I will walk you through my process of painting these glossy lips. I used the Basic Flo brush pack in this video, so you all have that.

I have also added the color palette and working file, in case you want to take a closer look.

Thank You Flo. I started this yesterday and find it fun. but also pretty challenging. Question? I downloaded your color pallet you provided, but the colors don't look at all right on my end? Example is that some of the darker reds, look a lot more purple? Also any suggestions for what to try with some of the finer lines with the creases within the lips? I tried different sizes using the Basic Flo Brush but nothing I am trying is making it look more realistic? Thank you in advance.

Is your canvas set to an RGB color profile? If it's set to CMYK the colors will look different, or perhaps it's the color settings of your iPad. As for finer lines for the creases, I'd try the darken line brush. You can pick the local color and lower the opacity of the brush to make fine lines. Good luck!

Is there a way to change a color profile on a canvas that already was created, or do you need to start from scratch?

Unfortunately you can't seem to change the color profile in Procreate. I'm not sure if you could move the layers to a new canvas though, that would be worth a try. So make a new canvas in RGB and then drag the layers from your current file to the new file

Question what color profile do you recommend for most of your canvases? I know there is CMYK or sRGB but there are several variations of sRBG so not sure which one works best for your tutorials? Thank You.

As a beginner, this video was too hard for me. I wanted to try and challenge myself by doing it, but it was beyond me. One thing that helped was the brush strokes that you made in blue. Understanding the direction that my stroke should go helped.

There was no overlay brush in the basic flo pack, so it was kinda hard to follow along.

Then you downloaded the Photoshop (.abr) file in stead of the Procreate file (.brushset) 😉
