It's finally here! A 4,5 hour+ video about painting a portrait in full color. I used a photo by the talented photographer Alexey Kazantsev ( https://www.instagram.com/kazantsevalexey ) The model is Ekaterina Dudina ( https://www.instagram.com/dudina_katyaa ). If you want to use it as reference as well, then please give proper credit to the photographer and model when sharing online.

The second part of the video is a screen capture, since I wasn't able to properly see the colors and values in the painting anymore, so I had to get away from the studio lights.

Flo - trying to download the brushes by saving to files but when I select to save to files a window starts to open but immediately disappears. When I try to select procreate directly it doesn’t allow me to select. Is there a work around? I’m running into this on a whole bunch of tutorials

Are you using a browser like Safari or Chrome? Downloading from the Patreon app doesn't work unfortunately

It probably gives a warning about not being able to scan it for viruses? As long as you have good anti virus software, all should be fine

The color palette is attached to the post, it's the portrait.swatches file. If you can't see the files, then try using a different browser, like Chrome. The link is only for the psd file, since it was too big to attach it to the post itself. And I'm happy to hear you like the variety!

https://folio.procreate.art/discussions/3/6/27060 This shows you how to do Real Time recording. Read the whole note. It says about recording your procreate progress and will show the boxes ex: The pallete or brush box when you open them up in playback. This happens because you are recording your screen and not your strokes. This may also show your cursor. 🥰

The way they mention in the forum is exactly how I record my screen. The iPad just doesn't show a cursor when moving around across the screen and turning the brush cursor on doesn't help when you work with really small brushes 😉
