November in Review (Patreon)
Content
It's the end of the month (again!) and it's time to look back at some great weeks! But before we do, I would like to thank you for your (continued) support. I can't put into words how much it means to me to have built such a wonderful community together. It makes me so proud and grateful. It's great to see how everyone is developing their skills and enjoying the process of creating digital art.
For me this month was extra special, because after months of hard work, I was finally able to launch my treasure chest full of freebies. It's totally free for everyone, because I want everyone to be able to have fun creating in Procreate. If you haven't got access to the treasure chest yet, you can go to freefromflo.com and sign up for the newsletter. You'll get an email with a link to the download page after confirming your subscription.
But now let's review all of the tutorial content I have posted in November! You can click the titles to go to the tutorial posts.
NOTE: All Master Students will get a new discount code for December in their email inbox, it'll be send through Patreon. If you can't find it, be sure to check you spam folder.
Tutorials
The first video tutorial I launched this month was an advanced level tutorial in which we painted this owl in an autumn forest. We learned that we sometimes need to have faith and push through when things get tough during the painting process 😉
Skillshare - Watercolor and Glitter
I launched my 5th Skillshare class this month! This time it was a class in which I show an easy beginner level technique to combine watercolor painting with glittery texture.
You Can Draw This - Desert Landscape
I made another You Can Draw This - Patreon Exclusive. I am going to try to make one of those each month. This time we created this desert by night landscape with a camel. Brushes are included of course!
The Rainy Street Scene was the big winner of this month's poll. It was a challenging painting, but also a lot of fun! It's definitely advanced level. So it's not a step by step guide, but more about how you can apply different techniques, like using the perspective grid and selection tool for instance.
Finally I launched this watercolor house video. I must say that this has become my favorite thing to paint now, I find it super relaxing and it's nice to let go of realism sometimes and give things your own twist. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did!
What's coming in December?
It seems as if each month is even more exciting than the previous one, I can't wait for December to start! I have plans for a really nice new brush set and I've got some nice video tutorials in store. I'm also working on a new Skillshare class, which will be about animating. Of course the new Skillshare class will be available for all Eager Learners and Master Students. The next video here at Patreon will be a Holiday themed beginner level tutorial and I think I'll also post something food related this month 😊
I'm sure it'll be another exciting month!
Please stay safe and healthy and keep creating!
