Oh no! Flotastic February has already come to an end! It went by so fast, this month is way too short! I'm happy everyone is enjoying the Flotastic set so much though. It's my new favorite go to brush pack for all sorts of paintings.

Now It's time to look back again and check all of this month's tutorial videos (click the titles to go to the tutorial directly)! This month I continued the Learn to Sketch series and the Flo's Fundamentals series. I will be posting a new class for both each month.

And don't forget to go to the download post for Eager Learners + Master Students or the download post for Superfans to get brushes and info about how Patreon works.

NOTE: All Master Students will get a new discount code for March in their email inbox, it'll be send through Patreon. If you can't find it, be sure to check you spam folder.

Tutorials

Learn to Sketch! - Lesson 2 - Measuring

We started this month with a new sketching class! This class was all about measuring. In the coming week I'll be making some more exercises and add them to the first two classes. Doing these exercises is a great way to improve your sketching skills!

Makeup Eye

Next I launched a more advanced tutorial about painting an eye with makeup, using the makeup brushes again! I've seen some wonderful tutorial results. Great work everyone!

You Can Draw This Hiking Scene

I launched another Patreon Exclusive You Can Draw This video this month! In this tutorial we created a lovely sunset hiking scene.

Flo's Fundamentals: Painting Water

In this month's Flo's Fundamentals class, we dove into the subject of painting water. I added exercise files so you can do the same studies as I did during the demonstration. You can also check my Pinterest board with loads of water reference images.

What's coming in March?

In March you can expect new classes for Flo's Fundamentals and Learn to Sketch. We'll be learning about organic shapes and line weight and in the Fundamentals class I'll teach you how to paint various types of fur. I also want to do another watercolor painting tutorial in March, since it seems a lot of you enjoyed the first one!

I also have a new Special Offer in March! All Master Students will be getting the brand new Animal Brush Pack vol.3!

For me personally, March (and also April) will be a busy month. I'll get the key to my new home on the 18th, so exciting! Don't worry though, I'm working extra hard right now to make sure I can keep up with all the tutorial content in the coming weeks and months.

Don't forget that you can always check the OVERVIEW page for an overview of all of the tutorial content.

Flooooo! 3500 patrons! Do you remember when we were talking about reaching 1000 some day! Congratulations! So proud of you! Sorry for being absent.. life is getting on the way.

Thank you so much! It has been a crazy ride. I was hoping that, with some luck, I would reach 400 patrons by the end of 2020 😅 Don't worry about being absent, I know what it's like when life happens ❤️ Thank you for your continued support, I really appreciate it. Wishing you a great Sunday! Stay safe.

Absolutely loved it. My first month on patreon and no regrets ... Not only have I enjoyed the tutorials but been improving my other work too, with techniques and using your brushes both the flotastic set and bought some packs off your gumroad too... Love the lighter and darker line brushes :)

Thank you so much Caroline, I'm so happy to hear that! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead :D

I just joined but thank you! Not just for what you do here but for the free content on YouTube! I followed a few of them but wanted more ;) I use to draw with my uncle when I was very small but long story short... I can’t remember how anymore as I stopped when we lost him many, many years ago! So I’m glad I found you, even though I’m starting over from scratch I don’t mind! Thanks again! My kids like watching your YouTube channel and try very hard to follow along!
