It's the end of the months AND the end of the year! I feel like it went by so fast, it's crazy. A lot has happened and we have a lot of changes planned for the coming year. Including our rebranding, so exciting! The last month has been quite hectic for me unfortunately, with an unexpected death in our family. I wasn't able to work as much as I had planned, but sometimes life just happens.

I hope you are all doing well and that you are having fun creating in Procreate 😃 Let's have even more fun in the coming year and let's make even more friends in this community. I believe Patreon has some changes planned that will improve all of our experiences here on the platform, so that would sure be nice.

But for now, let's look back on the tutorials of this month (click the titles to go to the tutorial directly)! I shared a beginner tutorial on how to use the perspective tool and create a gift box for instance, but of course I also shared a brand new You Can Draw This XXL with a fun brush pack!

This month we did a fun tutorial in which we created this gift box in perspective. I showed you how you can use photo textures and layer blending modes for a cool effect.

Pen and Ink Holiday Bear

This cute bear just makes me happy! In this easy tutorial I showed you how to create this bear from sketch to finish. I've seen so many of your cute bears!

Assignment Feedback

Thanks again for sending in your assignment work! Unfortunately this was the last assignment feedback session for now. I want to thank all of you for trusting me to give you feedback. And you all did such an astounding job!

It's the Holiday Season! So we have a special winter themed You Can Draw This XXL. And since the holiday season is the time to give, this YCDT XXL is here to stay, so any patron (Eager Learner and Master Student tier) can watch it, now and in the future.

What's coming in January?

The Flo 2.0 launch of course! In the coming weeks you'll see the new branding come to life. It'll be all about community and there will be a role for you too! Let's spread the joy of creating together 😃 Please keep an eye out here at Patreon, because I'll be sharing more details soon.

I'll also start focusing on more beginner to intermediate level tutorials. We will also hire another editor, so we will be able to improve our tutorial video creation game 😎
