I want to start this year off with the warmest thank you I can possibly give! Truly. Thank you all for the love, the encouragement, the kindness, the messages, the comments, the laughs. All of it! I am still so floored by how many of you have joined this little corner of the internet and settled in to make it feel like home. What started as something small and personal in 2025 has grown into a whole community that I hold very close to my heart. I don't take a single one of you for granted!2025 was also the year I fell completely in love with film. Not just watching movies... but feeling them. Sitting with the stories and values they offer. Letting them change me and add little pieces to my soul. Letting them stay with me long after the credits. It's wild to think that we're coming up on almost one year since I first watched The Lord of the Rings for the first time! A moment that still lives within me. A fire that I still feed with little logs every now and then. It has honestly changed the way I see storytelling forever and was one of the main reasons I was so drawn to film afterwards. It seriously was the journey that opened a door to something so much bigger than I ever knew possible. Looking back on the year of stories I went through, I'm seriously amazed at how much we watched over ONE year! Saving Private Ryan. Interstellar. The entire Marvel journey so far! ENDGAME. Band of Brothers. Forrest Gump. The Green Mile. Firefly! Battlestar Galactica (with one more season still waiting for us). The Matrix trilogy. Graphic novel movies that completely pulled me in. Good Will Hunting. A Few Good Men (even the accidental very G version LOL). Comedies that had me wheezing like Liar Liar, Tropic Thunder, The Hangover, 50 First Dates. The ENTIRE Star Wars saga and Andor 🔥 Jurassic Park. The first three Pirates of the Caribbean films. All of the movie tickets you all had me experience! The spooky movies I had NO business watching (The Conjuring, The Thing, Se7en, Alien). Falling in love with Arnold through Terminator and realizing how hunky he is in Predator. John Wick. Kill Bill. The Chrisopher Nolan Batman trilogy! Our very first anime film: Your Name. The Disney films that surprised me with so much heart. Christopher Reeve's Superman. The Joe Pesky films 🤣 And ending the year on deeply powerful journeys with Schindler's List and Full Metal Jacket.Every single one of these films added something to me. How I see the world, how I process emotions, how I understand people and stories. Piece by piece they built something in me. Added to who I am. THAT is how powerful film is! This year, I truly and genuinely fell in love with film. And I can't wait to see where 2026 takes us next with this newfound love!I also want to say how grateful I am that I took the leap from gaming into movie reactions. It was so scary switching gears from something I knew so well, something stable and familiar, and diving into a completely new niche. I was so worried that I'd break the algorithm, have to quit, give up on my dreams of being a creator. But I felt drawn to something and took that leap! I know many of you came from my gaming days and I can't say thank you enough for following me wherever the content took us! And yes, it's true that I've met so many more amazing people because of this switch! But more than anything, I did it because I fell in love with the art, the music, the writing, the directing, the emotion. There is soul in every single movie we watch together and sharing that experience with you has been one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done as a content creator! My New Year's goals for 2025 were absolutely obliterated! Every single one (well except 100k on YouTube but I feel like we will possibly get there this year!) somehow got crossed off. That feels UNREAL. Especially since most of those goals I never thought I'd actually reach. That's because of you. Your support, your belief in what I do. And it seriously means everything! So, thank you all so much! For 2025. For being here. Thank you for walking this journey with me. Thank you for making this community what it is.
