Regretfully I don't normally write or speak with my full inteligence. I often avoid my full lexicon and use the hip lingo all of my friends are using. Question? Does anyone else notice that, when texteing their frinds, one rarely uses full sentences and puntuation? I am the only one amongst my friends and most of my family the texts full sentences and doesn't use acronyms like BRB, IKR, or WRUD.

I really sympathise with what Brett is saying. I tried to get a couple of novels published. After one agent's note, I asked if he wanted me to dumb it down. He asked if I thought my writing was too intelligent for people, when that wasn't what I thought at all. Pure communication breakdown and language failing.
