Ahh. Fighting games are, in theory, so beautiful in the tactics of it. Learning which moves are safe, unsafe, the whole dance of frames with your opponent as you both try and reach with a safe move to get frame advantage. But they're so god damn fast. Like, I get 3 frames of buffer to input a combo? mf THREE?! That's so little. In training, I can nail combos almost every time but in a battle? oof, not fun. Then you know, the average human reaction time is 250ms, that's 15 frames, I throw out a move and HIT, it's my turn! I did it I have 7 frames advantage. Well, half the time your turn is over before you even realize it was your turn! I wish they made some fighting games more novice friendly, just.. make it slower you know? more tactical and less reactive. Maybe what I need to do is play zangief instead lol.

the frame bar is so good in sf6 that i was turned off from gbvsr bc i didn't have it. i'll pick it back up someday but the frame bar is so usefull in sf6
