For anyone struggling with the Crucible Knight evergaol, his two weaknesses are kicking his sheild and parrying his attacks. His attacks have a big windup and its a really good chance to practice parries. Hope this helps someone.

I beat every single enemy I encountered in this whole game (including many other crucible knights)... except for this one crucible knight Fuck that dude. Lol

I don't get frustrated with Crucible Knight as much but I do, and I know I'm alone here, find the combat rather unresponsive and frustrating. Elden Ring more so then Dark Souls. I play these games for the world building though.

Crucible Knight was my least favorite enemy in the whole game. Not that he was unfair or anything, but he just kept absolutely kicking my ass.

Yeah I gotta agree with Alex on that RPG bit at the end there. Brett and Ted gotta try a modern RPG cuz they were wildin a bit there.

Hell yeah I think I beat the very first crucible knight like.. after a few bosses already under the belt. The combat in souls games are Made to be unresponsive, that's their design philosophy, make the combat feel intentionally awkward and enemies read your inputs to make it even more awkward. People like it though so, eh.

Yeah, they make everything purposely broken to give enemies an advantage and it doesn't make sense to me so it's hard to follow the games logic. Some people find that kind of challenge fun, but I don't at all. I do still enjoy playing these games and exploring their worlds.
