May Release: Enchanted Leaf Clutch (Patreon)

Introducing our Enchanted Leaf Clutch, inspired by the Lothlorien leaf wrap for lembas bread that is bestowed to the Fellowship. It is the kind of piece you bring to a Ren Faire, a fae picnic, mushroom foraging, or any event where you want people to wonder if you just stepped out of an enchanted grove. It's Whimsy-maxxing time, y'all!

It has a stylized leaf silhouette and was designed to be genuinely useful. The interior is roomy enough for the essentials you'd want a clutch to carry, including basically any size phone!

If you are the type of person who loves flower crowns, forest creatures, and dramatic accessories, this clutch is for you!

Printing notes

Printer type: FDM

Material: PLA or PETG

PETG recommended for extra durability if you plan to use it as a daily clutch

Nozzle size: 0.4 mm

Layer height: Highly recommend adaptive layer heights to capture the details in the leaf components

Infill: 15 to 25 percent gyroid (or your preferred pattern)

Supports: none required

Assembly overview

Hardware needed:

2 x 1 inch O rings

2 x 10 x 3 mm round magnets

Any strap you like (purchased or 3D printed)

Steps

Print the two clutch pieces (do not adjust orientation) and 2x of the hinge part.

Snap the hinges into place of the clutch base then snap over the top piece. The hinge design is intended to assemble without glue.

Glue the 10 x 3 mm magnets into the magnet pockets on the clutch top and body, checking polarity before seating them.

Attach the 1 inch O rings at the strap connection points on the side of the clutch.

For the shoulder strap, you can either reuse an existing strap or 3D print one any long chain. We have had good success with the chain at this link, scaled up:

STL resale or sharing is not permitted. Credit to Curations By Kira is required when selling physical prints, and merchants must have an active Ancient Dragon subscription.
