Layered_Legion

This sounds awesome!! I was thinking about trying something like this but wasn't sure how, you literally just solved it for me so thank you! Definitely super excited for this..... now the real question what colors?

Carla Schrum

Oh that sounds like a really mute model never printed one of those before this should be fun

Alina

Hoping one of them is a mini elf on the shelf 🀞

Manda Diehl

I’m so excited, I have been working on figuring out how to add advent calendars to our line up this year. Can’t wait until they are released! πŸ₯°

Beth Petkunas

This is so exciting! I can't wait!

SEREV3d

If you only have an A1 mini sized printer, even with that the whole Advent Calendar with all the 24 compartments will take roughly 23-25 hours in total, but if you have 2 medium or big sized printers, you can basically print the whole Advent Calendar in about 9-10 hours 😊 (compared to a Cinderwing Gingerbread dragon.. which takes up to 34 hours to print in multicolor....it's not even too bad hahaπŸ˜…) The mini flexi characters, animals and fidgets won't take too long to print, they are all about 25-35 minutes to print in single color, or in multicolor 4-6 hours, and the good thing is that we'll prepare the print plates with all the items on them, in the same color palette fitting all the flexis, so it will save a ton of time, because basically all the little presents can be printed at the same time on the same plate 😊

SEREV3d

Basically the color palette for all of them will consist these four: green, red, gold(or brown), and of course basic white and black filaments! 😊 We'll prepare the plates with a bunch of the little flexis with the same color palette, so like that people won't have to print each of them one by one, but all the little animals, characters and fidgets can be printed on the same plate 😊

SEREV3d

Maybe.....with little dangling legs!! 😊

Layered_Legion

Wowww that sounds super convenient!! Im gonna placing a filament order here soon. Definitely adding these too the list! Will the advent box and everything be available before December?

Layered_Legion

So between my h2d and h2s I'm good too go! Can do a few in a day.

Layered_Legion

After printing your derpy cat model I got a good appreciation for the quality of your models. I was surprised at the quality. Your up there with matmire and flexi factory! So I already know this advent calendar is gonna be great...

SEREV3d

Yes, we're aiming to release the Advent Calendar first by the middle of next week, since that's the object which takes the longest printing time, with all the 24 compartments and little drawers. (it's around 24h if you have a mini printer, in a mid-big sized printer it's about 10-12 hours. And then all the animals, characters and fidgets will roll out by little categories throughout the upcoming two weeks.

SEREV3d

Thanks a lot!! Yes, both of them are super professional, with an actual 3d animation background, which I think it's very important, because they know everything about modeling, sculpting and all the workflow of creating the best characters. I also came from a very similar background, i've been working in the 3d animation industry for over 8 years now, my wife also came from an artistic background, and my brother is a pro with programming and a lot of technical problem-solving, so we make quite an awesome team! We just celebrated our 1st year anniversary with Serev3D, so there's still much more space to grow, and we aim really big, we will try to become one of the top designers, who can really provide the most diverse and high quality designs for people, so everyone can enjoy having really awesome toys, fidgets and creative decor at home, without spending countless of hours on fixing failed prints. 3d printing is still such in a "baby phase", but I think the industry is slowly growing stronger and stronger! 😊

Layered_Legion

Your quite welcome! Yall are the A-Team for 3d printing... Going thru you're catalog i must say you've got some really cool stuff and like you said you cover alot of areas so there's something for everyone! Congratulations on one year!! The 3d print industry is only going up from here as long as things stay fresh and relevant... By chance have you made any clickers? Im looking for cool unique that haven't flooded the markets yet.

Layered_Legion

Sounds good! Okay so it's a dresser style advent calendar with drawers you pull out.

Layered_Legion

By chance are you able too make a stich dragon or sea turtle version? Im trying too make straw buddies of them

SEREV3d

From the back of my head, I remember we only made one around May this year, a Jawa clicker from star wars, honestly we thought that the clicker will be a quick seasonal sensation, and they won't stick around too much, but people still seem to like them! The best designs for clickers are usually characters with cute sitting position with a big head, I think if we make a collection of those, I already have a few fun things in mind. But I think with all the things what's coming for this upcoming two months, those ideas might have to be delayed until next year january!

SEREV3d

The Stitch dragon was something people have requested a few times already, because they said that what they found from other designers, the idea is great, but they are a bit too big and robust, and takes a long time to print. So, with that in mind, we got quite inspired to give it a go, I think we could do a cute long stitch with 3 different sizes, like we did with the Derpy Tiger too. Oh by the way, if you ever want to use the LONG versions of our articulated designs as straw buddies, you can actually scale them down to 50-60% (with a well calibrated printer, they should print very well in those sizes), and you can attach the straw buddy loops we have provided in the template files. Because I know some people are specifically look for straw buddies which have a long buddy, but still being quite slim and small to fit on their cups.

Layered_Legion

Okay be cool too see what you have in mind for January. Ive got other clicker designs i just wanted too ask cuz i know you and your team always make cool and unique stuff. I totally understand with the advent box coming and whatever else you have planned.

Layered_Legion

All good information too hear! Id love too see your version of stitch if it be anything like the derpy cat! I think you commented on the one I posted. I might have too give the dragon a try, I don't normally use the loop. I figured out how too make the straw buddies without it. I appreciate the file for it though.

Garrett

psssst.... can i get a sneak peek we're friends right? lol

LRSM500

So excited about this! Lots of shows coming up and I was searching for advent calendar sized items. Knowing that you have these coming with the quality and ease of printing you offer is amazing!!! Will these all be available to print next week?

Yuma Makers

The 19th is too far away!!! I have a niece that loves flexi animals and this will be a great early Christmas gift for her.

SEREV3d

But...the 19th of November....is in two days hahaπŸ˜… And we optimized everything so well, that you'll be able to print the advent calendar with all the 24 containers and a bunch of fun fidgets and cute flexi animals within the same day even, so for sure you'll be able to surprise your niece with this fun present! 😊

SEREV3d

Oh sorry, I completely missed out on your comment! Yess, on the 19th we release the Advent Calendar with all the modular elements, plus 4 fidgets and 4 cute flexi animals! 😊 And then we aim to release another batch of cute characters and more fidgets towards the weekend, around the 22nd of Nov. All the items will fit the containers super well, which can fit small prints in between 3.5-4.5 cm, it's usually the perfect size for minis, to fill the printer bed with a few dozen, and print them in batch! 😊

TrapJaw Dad

Can’t’t wait!!

Yuma Makers

I can't wait. I love everything you have designed. Some of my favorite models to print. The best part is I have Thursday off of work so I can get it printed while I hang at home.

Yuma Makers

Ah you are torturing me... lol. Waiting until late today just because I said I couldn't wait, right? lol Just a little excited for this one..

SEREV3d

haha, we are just about to put the last words down in our announcement post, it's like this close of being done! It is a HUGE release, so we want to make sure, that all the info, all folders, all the pictures and videos are in the right place before posting it!😊 I think in about an hour we launch!
