Thanks for the reaction im glad you enjoyed that one😄

I love this song so much!! I think you are starting to get a feel for why we love Straykids so much. They have that unique Skz Sound that comes from 3Racha and then combine that with all kinds of ideas and sources of Inspirations. They are just really fun

Annieaconda

Love the reaction and StrayKids! 3Racha (Bang Chan aka Chris, Changbin, HAN); Danceracha (Lee KNow, Hyunjin, Felix); Volcalracha (Seungmin, IN).

You mentioned you love Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds (its okay if you didn't like the one movie 😂) and a cute back story is that they are BOTH enormous fans of Stray Kids. They met (online) when Stray Kids did a deadpool-themed Kingdom performance, as I understand it and since then both Ryan and Hugh have done a lot of public interviews segments / social media posts about being their fans. They made a short joke video once about calling Stray Kids' hotel and trying to join the group. There's also a few interviews where they talk to each other about their relationship and I think this one is super cute because it's just Ryan and Bang Chan being fans of each other the entire time. Like "no, I love YOUR work" "no, you!" https://youtu.be/zZxGOSbhj68?si=89o1muKcYCjxVLHf

It's also been mentioned (I think by Ryan Reynolds) that they didn't really get permission to do these cameos. It sounds like they just did it for fun. And it's very cute to watch the "behind the scenes" for this MV. At one point Bang Chan says, "the kids will probably want some selfies" 😂so cute.

Lee Know and Hyunjin are both mainly dancers (one is lead dancer and one is "main" dancer but I can never remember which is which or what the difference is). But as you notice, they are all pretty good at everything and they like to play around and try new things.. Han is most often called "the ace of kpop" or an all-rounder, meaning he is consistently strong at vocals/rap/dancing most of the time. The reaction from the other groups in the "I'll be your man" kingdom performance is so funny they are all ASTONISHED that their rappers are so good at singing. Lee Know has a really nice singing voice and even gets a rap part once in a while. Hyunjin has a lot of rap parts and was also recently having trouble with his voice. He did a short speech during the dominATE: celebrATE show where he explained that in the past year he had trouble speaking at all, his voice "wasn't coming out" in his words, and he was terrified he would have to leave the group if he couldn't sing anymore. Fortunately for everyone, he was able to work with a vocal coach (and Seungmin, their main vocalist, helped as well). It's such a relief, I don't know if the group could survive a member leaving at this point.

Great suggestion to check this song out Abby!! Straykids was actually on the Deadpool and Wolverin Soundtreck with a Song called Slash so thats how they got to know each other😆

Libby

Btw I did the name cheatsheets for the concert reaction for you. They are in the Kpop chat in case you havent seen them😊

Libby

I think Lee Know was introduced as the Dance Leader in the survival Show. But in general I think they actually dont care who of DanceRacha is what (I also dont think they ever officaly said anything about it) aslong as people dont call either of them just a Visual

Finally got enough of a breather in my day to watch this and I LOVED it! I really like learning about all the unique characteristics of each member's voice, how they achieve certain effects, and how to describe what various qualities or techniques are (like texture and vocal fry). I'm not going to complain about your commentary being longer! ;) I have seen Felix's voice described as "growling" and I think that's a super apt description- it's not just low, it has a rumbling, reverberating, full feeling to it. It cracks me up a bit because his voice and persona in MVs and performance clips is so heavily imposing, aggressive/badass, and full of attitude, but then his personality in the group's other videos of hanging out, chatting, doing activities and such is just a sweet, goofy ball of sunshine lol I was just a little bit bummed though that you didn't comment about Bang Chan's part near the beginning (after the "Imma pop pop pop take a shot yeah" part with the binoculars) where he says "filling up my truck yeah you want that ride, BOOM, hit you like a truck Imma make you fly" in a super gravelly, dry voice. I keep listening to it and going "I wonder what Tim would say about this part?!" and then you said exactly nothing about it. XD

I was just describing Felix's duality to a friend - on stage, when performing he's a total badass. He frequently has a role in the choreography where he's visibly controlling the other members, they center around him 😂 Then in the variety / "real life" content that they release, he's like a tiny kitten. I was watching one of the spooky haunted house episodes of SKZ Code the other day and poor Felix I thought his heart was going to give out.

Sharon

Aww poor thing, he's such a sweetheart and it makes me want to wrap him up in a blanket, pat his head, and give him a mug of hot cocoa! But then it would look absurd in his stage persona. 🤣 I'm 40 and these guys are even younger than my "baby" brother who just turned 31. So I admire and respect their incredible talent and skill, but also I look at them and just see actual kids and want to dote on them like little brothers. 🥰

Maria

The song is more about shooting for your goals and hitting them one by one. ❤️

Lee Know was not introduced as the dance leader in the survival, it's the role Chan gave him inside the group once they got together. Chan is the leader as everyone knows and he saw during the survival how Lee Know took time to help the other members when they struggled with choreo and the way he was able to teach them the dance moves. It was most noticeable when Chan got frustrated with I.N not being able to keep up with the choreo and Lee Know calmly intervened and broke down the choreo in a way that was easy for I.N to understand. Dance leader is not an official role like leader or 3racha (producers), vocalracha (vocalists) and danceracha (dancers), but everyone mentioned how Lee Know is the dance leader who supervises the dance practices, teaches the choreo to the group and sometimes contributes to the group choreo.
