A lot of the advance squad actually is adults! Especially that guy named Levi he’s like 30 something, just goes to show how advanced they are! That even though they go out to titan territory all the time they make it back out alive.it makes sense that it feels like you only see kid soldiers cause all the adult keep on dying or the kids die before they make adulthood 😭 just goes to show how dangerous this world is

You gotta get around to the “Hiroyuki Sawano project emU” it’s got a lot the songs in aot!the epic songs you could say.its a video make by the composer of them! A live a version with orchestra and him giving the artist the freedom to like change the song how they see fit like singing higher notes for parts etc! It’s amazing you really need to give it a listen👀

It’s pronounced like you’d think it is or Atleast the German way. Remember that in the show despite the fact that it’s an anime the only Asian character on the island is Mikasa! Another example would be commander Erwin hes name is German so it’s pronounced with a v even though it’s spelled with a w

Almost all of Japanese follows a pattern of (consonant-vowel) - there's a single exception &#12435 transliterated as 'n'. When a word ends in 'n' like 'Eren,' it's common for the 'n' to be underemphasized. This distinguishes it from sounding like 'Erenu' which would be the natural Japanese pronunciation if you hit the 'n' too hard.

I almost died laughing at your reactions because I had the same when I first watched it haha! The good thing about the series is that everything (from what I remember) does get explained in time. Also the title cards are common in anime, although usually they are normally just artwork of the series like series branding, and I think is/was the result of TV commercial breaks when the episodes aired originally, if that makes sense... Hope you continue to enjoy the series!

I finally caught up with your AoT reactions and Tim, your reactions and facial expressions are so entertaining. I hope you’re ready because the cliffhangers get worse and as they give you answers you will just have more questions. It’s been awhile since I watched the series but I’ll try to answer your questions (someone correct me if I’m wrong). Eren never went into the basement. Him turning into a Titan unlocked the memory at the end which happened right after the fall of Wall Maria and the death of his mother. Eren going to the basement to get answers of how he turned is a big upcoming storyline.

They use "aberrant" in the Japanese version and "abnormal" in the English version. The crazy lady you like (Hange ( pronounced "Han-jee") Zoe ) is obsessed with learning everything about Titans, especially the abnormal ones. Their enthusiasm is why Cpt Levi calls them abnormal 🤣

The name Eren is commonly used for boys in Turkey. As far as I know, its origin is Turkish. Its meaning can be summarized as “saintly,” “wise person,” or “mature.” I’m not sure whether the author actually chose it as a Turkish name, but the pronunciation is very similar to ours. It almost feels like a Japanese person is calling out to someone named Eren using their own accent. Even if there is a difference in pronunciation, it’s only that slight.
