She's definitely my favorite, last year, I listened to her for a little over 205k minutes according to my Spotify wrapped lol. But I agree, her simple authenticity is a big draw for me. Her concerts are just her in a simple dress, which she'll change at the midway point. During the encores, she dons a t shirt from the tour to sing in. She just goes up, sings with all her heart, and leave you wanting more.

I would to see you react to her song Ninelie from the Kabaneri if the Iron Fortress. The music is from Hiroyuki Sawano (attack on Titan composer person) and as you already know Aimer is incredible. She was one of the first Japanese artists I fell in love with!!!

Gotta thank you for these suggestions. I'm just as much an Aimer fan and it's good to see people reacting to, let's say, more obscure stuff. Often times, as far as I'm concerned, I much prefer some of her songs that aren't as well known (at least in the west, where people know her mainly from anime songs). Kimi wo Matsu and Shichigatsu no Tsubasa are up there in my list, for example. A more known one would be Haru wa Yuku (this one is the reason I started diving into her discography actually and she's been my favourite artist the past 5 years).

Those are all great songs of hers! I fell in love with her through Brane Shine, she has such great music from the Fate series. She's my number 1 artist and I so hope that I will have a chance to see her live one day. I just listen to her music on repeat at work, so I hit 205k minutes on spotify this year hahaha
