🚨 REQUESTS FOR NEW (to me) K-POP GROUPS/ARTISTS THAT YOU'D LIKE A DEEP DIVE OF GO HERE 👉K-POP: NEW (to me) GROUPS ARTISTS DECEMBER 2025👈

🚨 THIS POST is about finding SONGS by groups or artists that are already in my rotation, or artists that aren't yet in my rotation, but don't need a full deep dive first impression before reacting to them: like a backstory video and a Tiny Desk or Killing Voice etc.

(I was chatting with community member Bennett on Discord and he said there was so much discourse around who the next group deep dive should be that he requested we do a separate post just for that. Happy to give it a try this month, provided it doesn't become too confusing for the community to share ideas. Give feedback on that please. )

COMMENTING GUIDELINES:

BE SUPER RESPECTFUL OF EACH OTHER: 🙏 We have very passionate lovers of K-POP in our community, and I discourage engaging in "...no MY group is THE BEST..." type of communicating. That usually starts unnecessary drama, and I do not support that in my community. This is all about celebrating artists, and we can celebrate ALL of your favorites together.

LINKS: Leave a comment for the song including the link to the youtube video.

❤️ EACH OTHER: SUPER IMPORTANT! Put '❤️''s on others' comments! There are typically so many recommendations that there's no way I will get to all of them. That's why it's important for the community to come together and 'uptick' ideas that are wanted by the collective. (PRO TIP: 😀 Reach out to each other on Discord to get help with hearts on your comment if you find fellow fans of your favorite artists. PATREON doesn't allow you all to reach out to each other.)

SHOUTOUTS! I will give you a shoutout in the intro of the analysis if you are the one whose comment I chose. So, if it looks like your recommendation is likely to be picked, feel free add on to the comment and say a few words about the group that I will read on your behalf. 🚨 If you don't want a shoutout just let me know in your comment too! 🙏

HELP WITH NAMES: (optional) It's super helpful for me if you'd include the color coded lyric video which usually shows who is singing where in the group, so I can learn who the artists are better.

HOW LONG?: (optional) Specify whether you think a QUICK TAKE (5-7 minute reaction) or SONG ANALYSIS (15-30 minute reaction,) or a DEEP DIVE ANALYSIS (30+ minute analysis) is appropriate for your request. * I can't guarantee I will always do a full song analysis of your reaction, but please specify anyway. QUICK TAKES and SONG ANALYSES under 30 minutes live at the $5 tier, while DEEP DIVES that are 30+ minutes live at the $10 long form tier.

I'm having a blast, checking out K-pop with you all! So so so much more to come.

Cheers,

Tim

Song Analysis - Thunderous https://youtu.be/EaswWiwMVs8?si=PxLq3ZPSrmU9q8rN Live (let me know if you want a name cheatsheet for this) https://youtu.be/OL0DEbb_Ze8?si=r2BQgJBAuDwPyQoL Quick Take - Cheese https://youtu.be/YLtEc-kvOqA?si=LSmAQ0FJJIObL1dP So I thought it would be fun to look at two Straykids songs from an album that you dont know yet which is "Noeasy". Noeasy was released in 2021 so about a year after Gods Menu. While Gods Menu was a huge breakthrough moment for them it also got them alot of hate and critic. People where claiming that their music was too "noisy" meaning that they are too loud, use too many weird sounds and just in general too unconventional. So this album was really them saying "you thought Gods Menu was too noisy? Well f u we made this one even noiser". Both Thunderous and Cheese play into that message (btw cheese also directly refernces Gods Menu with the DUDUDU part). Personaly I absolutly love both Songs they are very diffrent but also very Straykids and I thought doing both would give you a really good idea of what that album was all about😊 I also added a link to a live version (simular Format as the first takes) of Thunderous that im very fond of to give you some live vocals. But I would definatly recommand to watch the MV first bc its fire!!

Since we’re in the month of December, I feel a holiday theme for my recommendations is appropriate. First up is a fun performance by BTS. They did Santa Clause is Coming to Town back in 2020 for the Disney Holiday Sing Along. Suga is missing because he was still recovering from shoulder surgery. https://youtu.be/KKxWfiI_n0c?si=-MssajxOoQd5TP87

Ezee

Oh when we are talking christmas songs you just have to do Christmas Evel from Straykids!! Its such a fun Song and it also includes one of the most iconic Felix moments of all time!! https://youtu.be/57n4dZAPxNY?si=z9GIjQOZL9qkS8lB Edit: If there is the time I would love for this to be a full song Analysis simply bc its such a Iconic song🥺🙏

Lastly, and possibly my favorite is V of BTS with Bing Crosby for White Christmas. It was a cross generational duet spearheaded by the Crosby estate. They isolated his vocals and added V in an effort to keep his legacy alive. I think their voices blend together wonderfully. The dog in the video is Yeontan, V’s dog who we as ARMY got to see grow up from a tiny puppy, and we got the news that he had passed just a couple months before this video was released. https://youtu.be/r3QP1SxW1_I?si=GFHLUwiOxNZGY2Ae

Bennett

There are definitely other Woodz songs you need to hear/see, but this is a great place to start with him; anyone here who’s heard him sing knows that you will definitely want to hear more from him. :)

Bennett

There’s another post for deep dive/KV reccs this month :)

Rye

Oh I think I misunderstood the "new" part on that post as in for groups he hasn't reacted to before. He's reacted to Red Velvet's "Psycho" already, but should all Killing Voice recs go in the other post?

Ezee

The first take of that one is also great!😄

Annieaconda

Yes! TBH I sometimes forget about the first takes!

Bb

Love this Recommandation!! In general one of my favorite Straykids Albums!

Abby

Not Chan messing up his lyrics in the KBS Live. So much fun though🤦🏻‍♀️😂

BTS Festa 2021! https://youtu.be/RRhjdYsNwAk?si=sD6El2Z2uQf1FA_m This isn't a single song but a medley. One song from each of their albums up until that point. I think it's one of their best small scale performances EVER, you get to hear more of just how many different genres they dabble in and its just sooooo fun. You'll definitely get to know them better. I unfortunately cant afford the highest tier so if any army would like to sponsor go off💜

(I will copy my comment from last month since my recommendation is the same) On last month recommendation post I had suggested this video, despite it not being a music video. Again, I am not sure if I can suggest it since it's not exactly just a song by a group, but clips of the process of recording the albums (so technically songs do appear, kinda). To sum it up the video shows them directing the recording and giving tips to one another about how to sing certain parts in songs or other similar things and just basically see the process and how they do it as they are always very involved in it. Someone commented that this is a compilation and not as focused as other videos, which to be fair is true, but otherr videos are longer and I am not sure if you have the time to watch them. Besides, this compilation also serves as a sort of preview so you know what the others are like. If you you would like or prefer to watch the longer and more detailed videos (not compilations, but actual making of and filming of recording process of their albums, which you can find on Stray Kids youtube channel), I would love it as I think many stays would too. I just thought this would be more accessible for you as a first. Nonetheless, I really hope you consider giving this a chance, as it really shows how involved they are in making their music and also how passionate they are about it. Really been loving your stray kids song reactions. https://youtu.be/BkZrKyjBeIk?si=Gd1-LewR_f1KU97F My first language isn't english, so please do tell me if something didn't make sense 😊

Abby

Straykids - JJam https://youtu.be/7ytGFxD-FcI?si=2tsUJjAoetdk7ZC6 Its a personal favorite of mine and in general a slightly silly but fun Song. Lyrics wise the whole thing is a play on the simular sound of the english "jam" and the korean jaem (meaning fun). Edit: Since you really seemed to enjoy the danceing during rhe concert reaction I just wanted to add that this one has a really cool choreography and dance practice 😊 https://youtu.be/i-h8LrVUrlQ?si=HLWXGV-vkMllOLWV

Libby

Btw if the whole thing at once is a bit much you can do it in 3 parts very easy. There is a band solo after Domino and a Intro before chk chk boom that they used for outfit changes/ break. (Its also marked in the Timestamp comment😊) that would make 3 Blocks of ca. 25min or 7 Songs each

Sophie

Yeah I love the KBS Lives. While the first takes seem to be very focused on perfection these have a bit more of a relaxed and raw feeling. I also think that there is not much postproduction done on them.

Savallion

This is what I was here for 😄 Christmas EveL is so fun. I'd also recommend turning on subtitles because as silly as it is, I think it also illuminates real feelings that some people can have about the holidays. The holidays aren't a delightful time for everyone and they show that while keeping the mood light and fun.

Savallion

CHEESE is one of my favorites ♥

Savallion

Note: this song should probably be reacted to AFTER / IF you react to Thunderous so you can hear the original mix first. Or if you want to do a longer vid you could even do both 😂 In the spirit of the holidays I'm going to recommend a live performance from a few years ago where Stray Kids took Thunderous and made it holiday themed with this jazzy, jingly Christmas remix. There are also some Squid Game references in here for reasons I don't know, but I think it's very fun. Some people might notice that this is a slightly shorter version of the whole performance - they perform "Winter Falls" before this but I wanted to keep it to 1 song so you wouldn't have more homework to do before reacting. I can drop the longer link if you'd prefer to do the WHOLE thing. This could be a quick take, especially since it's a special version. I just think it's such a delight, and they really shine on stage. https://youtu.be/BTA1iARSDGI?si=FtGMMW6TE1R2XGZI Here is the original Thunderous, just in case you want to look at both, though someone else requested it in this thread already: https://youtu.be/EaswWiwMVs8?si=PIOOwy2SQVYdJEeR

Savallion

Since someone got Christmas EveL already dropped below I'm going to repeat Stray Kids - ESCAPE again. I just love this song so much and the video is like a short film, they act so well it really feels like a whole story. It is a duo song with Bang Chan and Hyunjin (Hyunjin has the buzz cut in this video). It's described by them as an extension or sequel to "Red Lights". Where Red Lights was about sort of being trapped by compulsion / workaholic tendencies, Escape is... about escaping. Also my previous notes: Bang Chan is the one singing around 1:20, since it's not clear in the video and people generally ask (the first lyric video that comes up on YT is also wrong and includes an annotated correction). Also to help with understanding the video Bang Chan is often depicted as a wolf while Hyunjin is depicted as a weasel or ferret. This COULD be a quick take, sure, but dang, I would really love a more in depth one 😂 Dealer's choice. https://youtu.be/LvCmsOWPwKA?si=m2N1D82ls6MLJmVS Color coded lyrics if you need it: https://youtu.be/91EmtVdUO7U?si=fPPeqVqEEB5n2Bp3

Savallion

holy biceps what are they feeding these boys 😂 I think in all the recent live shows I've seen they are wearing sleeves.

Kagari

I'm gonna request the same as last month 😄 I would love a reaction for any of Seungmin's (from skz) covers on SONG by, one of my favorites is Ep. 07. Twenty five, Twenty one. https://youtu.be/_-v8WZfgL38?si=eJABP-1bmBIRMxxo . Idk if a song analisis is possible since is a cover but I would love to hear your opinion and analysis of his vocals. But i would like any cover from that series, he started it last year on SKZ's youtube channel because he wanted to share more of his singing and techniques that he doesn't always get to showcase in skz songs so on this series he does covers of songs that he loves but on his own style and there is always a few musicians with him. Here is the playlist with all the episodes in case something else catches your attention https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2HLJ87twWI02-y9tIcZ6ekQ7ziYpLkH_&si=kH4DKKGcJYcyInfU

Its such a shame that we only have Miroh and Topline from Hyde Park but I love both performaces so much!!! Definatly second that rec😆

https://youtu.be/zCNqdvR9e_w Snooze (feat. Ryuichi Sakamoto, WOOSUNG of The Rose) by Agust D - a track that I’ve been really falling into this time of year, when stress can be so high at end of term. Agust D (Suga of BTS) has said that Snooze is dedicated to aspiring younger artists, and I think it’s also become a comfort song for a lot of people (myself included). I really love Woosung’s voice in this as well, and the piano melody is from Ryuichi Sakamoto - one of the last projects he worked on before he passed. The video linked isn’t the official music video (there isn’t one as far as I’m aware) but it’s well done and the lyrics in the captions are good.

Abby

Christmas Evel is definatly a must for December!!! I love christmas songs that break out of that typical sound and structure that you would expect

Elodie H

I forgot the Karaoke start a 24:24

Libby

Love this! Honestly I would love to see a full Analysis for Cheese aswell but that goes for most skz songs😂

Abby

Bleep - skz (Song Analysis) https://youtu.be/qS7OsvKqojg?si=RRPrVvyufWvWhoEj Since Straykids just won Album of the year with Karma both at MAMA and AAA I thought it might be a good moment to give another song from that Album some love😊 Bleep is my personal favorite and such a cool song, the MV is very fast paced so dont really worry about it too much. As a little extra goodie for you Tim I also added the BTS of felix recording his part😆 Felix recording [17:30 - 19:30] https://youtu.be/owOGZAqFkRo?si=tv-XZa3qyIQR5UG7

Libby

Yessss!! After Christmas Evel definatly one of my favorite suggestions this month. I love this song so much and In general the Album as a whole is amazing!

Savallion

Sometimes I forget which songs Tim has reacted to already. I swear he did this one but no, great rec.

Bb

Haha trying to lure Tim in with some extra Felix is very clever😂😂 Jk I love the recording bits (I still hope we will do the 5star ones when we get to the songs). Also I love Bleep more with each listen😂 I went from "this is pretty good" to "Car speakers on full volum while shouting along"😂😂

Libby

Straykids - Hollow (First Take) https://youtu.be/NM0P5ZW5GBo?si=vMr9_jODKPXKeYq9 I mentioned this one in my comment on the concert reaction. Its a lot more vocal focused then their usuall stuff so I thought it could be interesting for you. It also includes vocal parts for both Changbin and Han so thats nice and it of course has a absolutly amazing bridge(?) done by Hyunjin where you can really hear the unique tone of his voice.

Savallion

After seeing your reaction to the live version of Stray Kids' S Class I wanted to drop it here. I don't think it's been recommended yet this month, but sorry if I'm stepping on toes the post gets so long 😂. It's just a really great Stray Kids song. Just like God's Menu it captures their unique flavor really well and the video is crazy. I'll include a link to the "making of" behind the scenes video if anyone wants to watch it because it shows how seriously they take performing even for the music videos. 5 days of filming, impressive use of practical special effects (so much fire??), not to mention having a fun time with each other doing little missions for fun, and being so gracious towards the staff and dancers and everyone helping out. This song is also really great on Beat Saber, just FYI. S Class MV: https://youtu.be/JsOOis4bBFg?si=DmpqSp6VVGrS357q S Class color-coded lyrics: https://youtu.be/EzgCa_m8pOY?si=yAevvL3-cPn7in1d S Class Making of / BTS: https://youtu.be/F3l_Ck5AAa0?si=x7_mZvftnwRyPwaF

Binnie

S Class is a great song for a deep dive there is just so much going on. We also have the Recording Studio bts for it which I think would be super fun to take a look at! Also just wanted to say I think it would be totaly fine to skip through these a little bit just to get a idea of each members voice when watching the whole thing is a bit much https://youtu.be/8_Nt-jnXGfQ?si=0WsWvqd_F97gLbVB

Libby

Little fun fact about that song is that Han wrote the lyrics 😆

Annieaconda

I'll probably transfer this breakdown to January too! But I think I already suggested CASE 143! You mentioned rapping in your JJAM reaction, I would suggest MEGAVERSE. CASE 143: I would say is a vibrant, pop-driven track that combines playful energy with a catchy, hook-heavy melody. The song’s concept revolves around love as a “mystery case,” blending humor, quirkiness, and relatable emotions. There is a music video, performance video, dance practice, Japanese version via The First Take, and color coded lyric video. Music Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYSlpC6Ud2A&list=RDjYSlpC6Ud2A&start_radio=1 The First Take: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8h2KMnRQDo&list=RDg8h2KMnRQDo&start_radio=1 MEGAVERSE: I think displays a maximalist production style and emphasizes their rap precision. It is definitely high energy and can definitely be described as cinematic! There is a music video, dance practice video, color coded lyrics, and video making film.
