Numi owns cosmoz music team with Andrew Holmes. You may know him as the writer and composer of nuero's colourful array. He worked with numi to rearrange this song to fit numi's style more. Numi started cosmoz music late last year to make songs for other vtubers. The most recent bao songs were also produced by cosmoz.

Also numi had not heard of this song till evil brought it up in a livestream and asked to sing it together.

I know this is a cover, but Numi is a good songwriter and had an album come out recently for herself. She is a pretty good singer also. Like seeing you branch out slowly to more singers also.

Numi is a prolific artist with a lot of original music too, and I'm pretty sure everything she does is in collaboration with her music partner Andrew Holmes. The pair have started doing work for other people as Cosmoz Music, notibly Colourful Array by Neuro which you're familiar with. This is part of a seven track duets album with a number of her friends that's set to come out any day now.

I've recently posted a couple of Numis cover songs in the discord 'music to react to' channel if you want to find some more by her, and the most recent post is actually the other original Cosmoz worked on for Bao the Whale called Kablooey if you wanted to see something else produced by the pair. She's released over 100 songs by my count in the last 5 years so, these two recommendations are just things that stuck out to me.

While yes I agree should check out Numi I don't agree with doing a spotlight every single time we come across a new Vtuber.... otherwise you wont be getting to anything else. :P

Vtubers seem to collaborate more than most traditional artists do, you'll discover a lot of them organically just by spending time in the space. I think the way Tim's discovered Neuro/Evil, got very interested in them, looked at some solo stuff and then checking out a few collabs (like here with Numi) is a pretty good way to explore. Check something else out from the new artists, if they're really interesting you can look at the suggestions for a couple more solo pieces and two or three collabs people like and go from there. Between that and whatever might catch your eye from the fan channels in discord / Patreon chat I doubt you'll be lacking in options.

Please do check out Akuma Nihmune (numi) more and also I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you listen to some of Michi Mochievee as well, she always says she cant sing. But she is lying! Try giving her cover of Medicine your light of day. Even if its just here on patreon.

A little funny backstory to that. Numi has been around for a very long time, in collabs etc. but It's the first official duet they did together iirc. They covered Bottom 2 with a bunch of other Vtubers at some point. And Evil practically willed it into existence, because in one collab with numi, they talked about music, and Evil suddenly said: I really liked your cover of "come down". Numi of course was confused and said she didn't cover that song. And after a while Evil settled with: Well then we just have to cover it, then I can say I was right:) . I didn't think it will actually happen, and it turns out, that evil was right, it's great. Thanks for the react too :)

A funny thing happened with this song. It was meant to be part of an album, but the release got delayed because when Numi uploaded it, the platform didn’t believe it was real— because Evil is such a high-profile artist.
