I am so here for break downs of any and all musicals! This one definitely has it's tear-jerker moments, it got me too 😅. So glad you were able to finish it! All the music is phenomenal

To my knowledge this is a very sugarcoated version of his life. But it makes for a great story and really hits the emotions

I'd love to see you check out some starkid stuff, they're musical creators on youtube, black friday, the guy who didn't like musicals and nerdy prudes must die would be a good start I think, the three are a triology but can be watched separately, but they reference each other as well. For something standalone I think their cinderella's castle has some very good music, but also some crude humour just to warn. (I hope this is what you mean when you say keep asking I'm sorry if it isn't I /am/ the autism people speak of, the whole thing)

I'd love to see you go into Sister Act or Labyrinth(David Bowie)! I think you'd have fun with those

A director once told me that if the audience is crying, then the writer, director, and actors did their jobs. In a way, you may have made a bunch of people very happy. 😅🫂 I’d like a breakdown of “Rewrite the Stars” since it’s the one song that stuck with me the most. I hummed and sang it for weeks after seeing the movie the first time and now I’m doing that all over again. hehe “Better Man” with Robbie Williams was mostly contemporary but a lot of fun. Never got to see La La Land, but heard nothing but good things, so it might be worth a look.

I’d love more long form content/reactions to movies & musicals. I’ve recommended on a few other of your musical reactions the pro shot of Come From Away and Encanto. Encantos main character is voiced by the same actress as Vaggie from Hazbin Hotel
