I agree with you on the news part. It’s on purpose, it scares people and it makes us more controllable by the government. It’s always negative, my country too.

Abby Jane

yes, they really need to stop doing that but they never will cause like you said it makes the people easier to control and manipulate

I come from poverty, so I understand Arthur Fleck's struggles. I've seen how people try to get by in life, but eventually end up behind bars as a result from these struggles. The Joker has been one of the greatest fictional villians of all time who has even inspired some people in real life. In 2012 during the release of The Dark Knight Rises, a man entered a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado with multiple firearms. He killed 12 people and injured many others. He reportedly told the police that he was the Joker. That's, of course, from news source that always shows the negative. I have not seen Joker: Folie à Deux. I'm not into musicals because in real life, people don't just spontaneously start dancing while everyone else starts joining in. But if you're going to watch, then I will gladly watch with you because I love your reactions. By the way, have you seen The Dark Knight trilogy with Christian Bale? You have to see it if you haven't already. I think it's the best version of Batman and Heath Ledger does an amazing performance as the Joker.

Abby Jane

I haven't seen it but I will be watching it at some point!
