So since it's gonna take a while to get through The Clone Wars, I want to start one of the other series. I know that for some of them I have to watch Clone Wars first, but I think Andor and the Obi Wan series are okay to watch now! So let me know which one I should start with first 💕 (I will still be watching Clone Wars, dw!)

If you're concerned about what to watch first in terms of relation to Clone Wars, personally I think Andor is more of its own thing and you don't really need CW for it. You could do either but I think Obi-Wan pays off more once you've seen the animated shows. That's just me though 🙂

Don't know if you want too but I recommend to watch Tales of the Jedi. It explains Dooku's motivation well and it's short episodes. But skip episode 5-6 until you've finished the Clone Wars. Otherwise things will get spoiled.

Fully agree, Tales of the Jedi episodes 1-4 can all be watched in a single seating, they're very short episodes that add to the magic of the clone wars.

The way I think about it is like this: The Obi Wan Kenobi series hits harder when you have more knowledge of what happened before, aka the clone wars. For example, watching Anakin saving Luke in Episode 6 hits harder once you know the story of the prequels and what this redemption actually means for Anakin. It was a great moment and watching the prequels is NOT a necessity to enjoy it, sure, but the same goes for the Kenobi show. Andor is very independent from this story line, so this can be watched at any point without other things changing the emotional impact.
