I just wanted to inform you that it will get better but Dave Filoni (the showrunner) always intended to have some more light-hearted and childish arcs aswell. It's a show for everyone and three great episodes will follow with some not as great. An example is in season 6. You'll certainly understand when you come to the "worse" episode. I know I told you in your poll but Tales Of The Jedi (especially 2-4) has the peak storytelling in league with peak Clone Wars.

Also happy to see that you've now met Hondo. He's somewhat of a fan-favourite and has been called "Space-Jack Sparrow". He's a very grey character who'll sometimes be an antagonist and sometimes a good ally
