What Star Wars series are we watching after we finish clone wars? 🙂‍↕️ Let me know if I missed any!!

I think the order they were released in makes the most sense, so Rebels would be next. It also has a special place for me

Tales Of The Jedi, Tales Of The Empire and Tales Of The Underground requires a seating each. It should take no more than three weeks for you to finish all of them if you watch them once a week. Tales Of The Empire however works better if you watch Star Wars Rebels and The Mandalorian. You've not seen one of the main characters in there, and you probably don't know what an inquisitor is. Tales Of The Jedi aligns perfectly with the Clone Wars and pays off the finale in a nice way, Tales Of The Underground is more standalone and can be watched at any time. I'd do Tales Of The Jedi, Rebels, Tales Of The Empire, Tales Of The Underground and maybe The Bad Batch. It's not necessary for anything really. The Bad Batch is nice (much filler tho) but while Rebels is necessary to understand Ahsoka and somewhat Tales Of The Empire, The Bad Batch doesn't lead into anything yet.

tales of the jedi & empire are like mini series that tie into the clone wars so it makes the most sense to get through them while clone wars is freshly finished

If you end up doing Rebels right after, it'll be a first time watch for me even though I already know everything about it :D so that will be fun. Rebels is long tho. I still think Tales of the Jedi is the most fitting follow up for the clone wars. But let's see

Agree. If the Clone Wars is the main dish, the "Tales of ..." series are definitely the dessert.

"Tales of ..." are attached to the clone wars basically, no spoilers for rebels. Plus, it's a matter of a few weekends to watch all of them and then rebels... if it's the other way around, it will be many months until we see anything new that is not rebels.

I am fine with whichever series you watch next but it would make more sense going with bad batch considering it’s closely tied in with the clone wars but it looks like rebels is winning and I’m totally cool with that

I don't think you will like Rebels at all. It's targeted for an even YOUNGER audience then The Clone Wars show. Its for like 7 year olds lol. I recommend you skip it if that isn't appealing to you

I think I have seen a video on youtube that was made for people that were going to watch the Ahsoka series but had not seen rebels yet and were not planning to. It was like an executive summary of rebels, covering all the need-to-knows... it was almost an hour long. Could be something interesting

And the animation looks so much worse, which is logical since the production budget is lower. Rebels has it's bright spots (and those are bright) but it is clearly a show meant for Disney XD. It'll take some time for it to get going. But the characters in the Ahsoka-series are from Rebels

I'm a seasoned starwars watcher and reaction watcher, and have seen many many people come to this crossroads.. Tales of the Jedi for sure, and then Rebels. Yes, it is a bit more childlike at first, but just like Clone Wars, it grows on you and does have some underlying mature themes. It's only more childlike due to the platform Disney gave them to put it on (Disney XD) By the end, just like Clone Wars, it's worth it, especially for the lore you learn for Ahsoka and onwards.

are u kidding me? :D without any spoilers, it has one of the coolest moments in SW history.. :D did u even watch the whole show?? :D It's just like CW starts out slow and a bit childish, but then certain characters show up and make it all better! also if she is gonna watch the later shows its really needed to get the whole point and who is what.. I just dont get it why people always say oh dont watch this and that.. :D like what wiill she understand of Ahsoka or the Mandalorian??? :D

Im just telling her, based off her opinions of Clone Wars and comments shes made, she probably wont enjoy 90% of a show made for 7 year olds. Idk how youre a patreon but disagree with that analysis lol

Tales of the jedi is so short and like 15 minutes per episode. Why would people not vote for rebels...it makes so much sense after clone wars. Tales of the jedi csn be watched at any times...

That is one of the bigger reasons I voted for tales of the jedi... she will not be watching two star wars shows at the same time! So she can watch TotJ very quickly, and the next week she can begin with rebels. If rebels wins, it will be many months until we get anything else that is not rebels as rebels is the longest show she can watch now. Plus, TotJ happens during the same timeline and story as clone wars, not even close to rebels.

Just because rebels doesn't win now doesn't mean she will never watch it Richard :D but I tend to agree with Joshua here, she might not be that much into Rebels or Bad Batch based on her comments throughout the clone wars series. Both are good shows in their own ways and I hope she watches both

This community has lead you down the wrong path. It sucks waiting for tales of the Jedi but Rebels HAS TO BE NEXT! Watch in release order, Star Wars is timeless and everyone catches up at some point. Don’t let them ruin your experience cause they want you to watch early lol all of these comments have terrible reasons on why they want tales please please do rebels
