So the outfit Rex wore in A Fool’s Hope. In Ep6 on Endor is an older rebel soldier with that same outfit and a white beard. In Legends he got the name Nik Sant (ha ha). When old Rex was revealed in the S2 trailer, it wasn’t long before people started speculating if Rex would be that character in Canon. Even Dave Filoni. “Why else is there a bearded old guy on Endor? Why? It makes no sense. If you don't want that to happen, do you know what that means? I'm gonna make that happen, I'm getting like Palpatine, I'm getting power crazy". Sabine mentions in the epilogue that Rex was at the battle of Endor, but they don’t show us. •Dave later said he chose not to explicitly confirm if that soldier was Rex because he thought laying down an established character from before he started working on SW didn’t feel right, so Rex could’ve been on Endor and not be Sant, but fans can choose to believe whether they’re the same person or not. There’s a couple animated shorts that feature Rex on Endor although those various shorts aren’t meant to be taken as literal events, and Nik Sant has been canonized. Look up an image of him

Thank you SO much for getting through Clone Wars and Rebels. You've done the homework and enjoyed the hell out of it. Now it's time to see those fruits pay off. The Mandalorian S1 & 2 > Boba Fett > Mando season 3 > Ahsoka is the best way to experience the magic that awaits. Let's goooooooooooooo

MagicForce

As for the next series, I advise you to continue with The Bad Batch and not The Mandalorian because you should finish the imperial era before starting the era of the new republic. Trust me.

MagicForce

A series that's far too underrated in my opinion. Very glad you liked it.

MagicForce

And yes Hera was pregnant throughout season 4.

MagicForce

It’s useless to start the Mandoverse right away. Better take your time and look in the right order.

4x13 This is actually a place we’ve seen before! Just different looking. Dave Filoni confirmed that Ezra was in the world between worlds in S1 when he got his kyber crystal, when it looked like he was standing in space, and again in S2 when he talked with Yoda, he just didn’t know it yet because he was too naieve and not fully unlocked. Vader was about to kill Ahsoka, and she disappeared. Then he fights Obi on the death star and when he makes the killing strike, he disappears from his robe. He must be so confused and frustrated 😂 At the SW Celebration panel for the last season of Rebels, Dave Filoni wore a shirt that said “Ahsoka Lives?” He removed the question mark right at the end, revealing an exclamation point. And then we had to wait roughly 10 months to see when and how that would be fulfilled. Ezra: Morai? Force echo: I am Daughter Ahsoka: She’s an old friend. I owe her my life. •Morai is the same convor we saw at the end of the Clone Wars finale, and like Ezra says, the some one flying around when Ahsoka was near, above Ezra in the penultimate S2 episode, and the end of the S2 finale. She has Daughter’s colors. And as Hyden said “A servant of the Daughter, or possibly the Daughter herself, acting as a spirit guide.” The symbol above the portal that shows Kanan’s death is similar to a Sith symbol from the Old Republic in Legends. And it’s the same portal that the Emperor appears in. So did Ezra really have an opportunity to save Kanan? Or was Sheev up to some chicanery? It’s so cool hearing the original Emperor (Ian McDiarmid) say the names Ezra Bridger and Ahsoka Tano. Palpatine was using sith sorcery. He used it in Clone Wars S6 with that pillar cauldron and blue fire When asked about it, Dave Filoni is very hesitant to say what happened in this episode is time travel. “I don't really think of it as time travel. It's not really a thing where you go through one door and out another in a different time. The world between worlds is really about knowledge and gaining knowledge. As the Dume wolf says, what's in there is knowledge and destruction. You can gain knowledge of the future or futures that may happen, and you can see things that happened in the past. You can at times choose to alter them, but it's perilous to do so and when you alter something you don't know if that's not the way it always happened. So destruction is the other half of what's in there. When you go through these doorways, you're in peril of destruction because you're missing all sorts of things that would have happened or things would've happened otherwise, you know, so it's a dangerous game but it's not something we're here going in and out of different doors. It's an extension of the Jedi's ability to perceive the future and the past...” Ahsoka walked toward the same triangle doorway like we saw at the end of Twilight of the Apprentice. Some trading cards show part of her journey, wading through some water, going up stairs, standing in front of a circle that has wolves around it…And they came out after the S2 finale, before this episode 4x14 Idk if you’ve watched Lord of the Ring, but the name A Fool’s Hope is a Gandalf reference. “There never was much hope. Only a fool’s hope.” “Hera, for that boy, there is nothing I would not do.” 😭 Hondo is the best. “We need an army!” We have Loth-Wolves. 🐺 “You got your wolf pack back!”/“Yeah! They fight just like the boys.” I didn’t expect this to make me tear up. There’s a joke version of the Loth-wolf attack scene that was made for the crew. It replaces the stormtrooper screams with chew toy squeaks. 4x15-16 In the beginning when Hera listens to Ezra's words, she places her hand on her stomach •• •Also at one point when everyone on the Ghost was asleep, Kanan wasn’t in his room 😉 Palpatine was trying to get Ezra to open the portal to the World Between Worlds again “It was an honor to fight with you for something that we *chose* to believe in.” ✊😞 The usage of the purrgil is the biggest reason we say Rebels has no filler “I see your defeat, like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace." And Ezra poses the same way Kanan did when he saved everyone! 😭 Tiya Sircar (Sabine’s VA) was the only one of the cast to know about the epilogue until the premiere. Dave asked her to stay behind after they finished recording and handed her the epilogue that he kept so secret that he only had it on a notepad. Everyone was very surprised by Jacen Syndulla. / You have seen human twilek hybrid kids before in Clone Wars, but they were definitely more twilek You have the privelage of not having to wait FIVE YEARS for the Ahsoka show. Although since it’s kinda surprisingly lowest on the poll, I guess you still havw a bit of a wait 😅

Jesse

In The Rise of Skywalker you hear multiple voices guiding Rey, yes all the big names, but also Ahsoka and Kanan!

Family Reunion - and Farewell: THANK YOU so much for this incredible journey through not only Clone Wars, but now Rebels right after. I remember a time when people debated if you’d like this show and if it would even be the next show to follow up Clone Wars, guessing how’d you feel knowing it was more kid centric early on similarly like the Clone Wars. I’m happy it was the direction you went in! The found family aspect and the more consistent narrative compared to Clone Wars along with very strong character work is a reason Rebels is rated so highly among fans and I’m happy you had a similar experience! The emotional highs in season 4 never fails to break me and for the first time watching the last half of the season really does make even the littlest moments super emotional and huge tearjerkers. The journey is not quite over yet, but this chapter of Clone Wars and Rebels is a book you can now close knowing you’ve seen what’s consider the best of the best. 11 seasons, 208 episodes, and 76 hours of PEAK CINEMA. Thank You again Abby and for whatever is next WE are all happy this show left this much of an impact as it did for so many!

The Clone Wars and Rebels is truly some of the best additions to Star Wars. You’ve officially done all the homework and lore consumption to fully understand everything moving forward and even better you loved both experiences. The Mando saga will seemingly win the vote and I’m sure you’ll love it as well even more so with all your Rebels and Clone Wars knowledge! Rebels had tough footsteps to follow being the next immediate show after Clone Wars along with the responsibility of answering many unsolved questions in Clone Wars. Tough seeing all our favourite rebels interact with the Mortis Gods, Maul, and Vader is all so surreal. The emotional backbone of this story is so strong and not surprising that you and many others loved it more than the Clone Wars. I think it’s impossible not to cry at the end of Rebels and it’s great to hear it left such an impact. The wait until Ahsoka will be worth it I swear and think about it Rebels ended in 2018 and we had to wait until 2023 to watch Ahsoka 😂

Paul Bce

And now we’re all done with Rebels, too. I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart, Abby, for this amazing journey through Clone Wars and Rebels. I’m really looking forward to what’s next! It’s so great to see all the characters together one last time, especially with Hondo back in action. Like I said before, every single episode with Hondo is just top-tier. Regarding the Ahsoka series: so far, there’s only one season out, but it’s already been announced that Season 2 will be coming in early 2027. Also, the continuation of the Mortis Gods lore is such an incredible addition to Star Wars!

Jaws

I am not surprised you have enjoyed Rebels more than Clone Wars. they're really close for me as I love both of them so much and I still can't decide which one I love more. I'd argue those two are the base shows that you need to watch in order to get everything out of the newer shows that you'll be watching next. They all connect in a way. And sidenote. If you really want more Ventress I highly recommend the novel Star Wars: Dark Disciple. Its 8 unfinished episodes of the Clones Wars that were never released because of the shows canceling that they turned into a book. Its honestly really good and will give you all the Ventress you could want and more.

Abby Jane

Yeah by the time I get to it it might just be in 5 years time 😂

Abby Jane

I’ll have to rewatch just to hear his voice 🥲

Abby Jane

Thank you for being part of the journey 🩷

Abby Jane

Im happy i watched it too 🥹🩷

Richard Ramirez

in rouge one at the rebel base you can hear the announcer calling for general Syndula.. :D small details :)

Ben Linus

Exsqueeze me! Meesa would love for you to watch Mando next, then Ashoka. Roger, Roger. May the force be with you always!!!

Cherry Hills Forever

There is the slightest amount of.. stuff.. in Mando that would be in Ahsoka. So it’s hard to say if it’s really skippable or. Mando is the minimum thing to watch first, but chronological release is alsooo🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m happy they knew Hondo would bring smiles to the final episodes🖤 I would die to see him in live action ahaha
