There are comics/books that cover how Ahsoka acquired her white crystals. In short, she took red crystals and purified them. Also, if it helps, think of her voice change being because she is older?

Yay! Earlier upload! This isn’t actually the first time we’ve seen an animated character in live action. Saw Gerrera was the first, or at least predates Bo Katan. He was in clone wars first, then he was in Rogue One The white sabers haven’t been explained on screen. In the Ahsoka novel, she takes the crystals from an inquisitor’s saber and purges the dark side from them, turning them white, and she puts them into her new sabers. Dave Filoni has confirmed her last episode in Tales of the Jedi is based on the same outline for the novel and intended to be the same story. It makes me frustrated that they didn’t show her making the sabers! •Metatextually they do symbolize her not being affiliated with either the jedi or sith, though not necessarily being between light and dark. A jedi master in the old high republic era had a white saber too No official reason has been given for why Ashley Eckstein wasn’t brought back to play Ahsoka. An article points out she’s done much more voice work compared to her live action work while Rosario Dawson is a veteran screen actor. Ashely doesn’t appear to have hard feelings about it Calodan wasn’t in clone wars. You’re probably thinking of umbara, which was dark and foggy with a purplish color and the people looked very similar to each other Yup, that’s THE bird. Morai the convor It does seem she doesn’t mind people assuming she’s a jedi. Maybe by now she’s taken Rafa’s words of her acting like a jedi to heart Yes, Ahsoka’s lekku (head tails) and montrals (horns) were longer. There hasn’t been a live action togruta since Shaak Ti in the prequels, and she didn’t move around that much. They had to make them shorter for ease of movement. They’ve managed to make her lekku a bit longer by the time of her show, though still not quite as long Grogu perking up when he hears his name is how you sell me on his name instantly Morgan is played by Diana Lee Inosanto, goddaughter of Bruce Lee! Her father Dan taught at one of Bruce’s schools I’m conflicted about revealing who Morgan’s people were. Because you will learn it eventually. But we technically learned it before thanks to an instagram post from her make up person, which has since been deleted. Im not sure it’s that big of a spoiler Oh yeah, you’ve watched Aliens! Morgan’s captain of the guard is played by Michael Biehn! Hicks, the main marine! Good eye, that was a loth cat! I actually never noticed it myself Ahsoka’s looking for Thrawn! Whatever for??? It’s not like one of our people used a bunch of space whales to take him to very far away parts unknown, requiring the help of a certain other mandalorian to find them…😉 I would say Kanan and Ezra are very good examples for how jedi should handle their attachments, they were able to set them aside for a greater selfless purpose Unfortunatey live action duels with real people can’t really be the same as animated duels, where they can move a lot quicker and more precisely because there’s no physical limitations. •Also the fuel here is very inspired by old samurai films Tython is very important in jedi history. In Legends it was the birthplace of the predecessor to the jedi order. It hasn’t been fully expanded on in canon but in a comic it was said to be founded by “the earliest jedi cults.” Of course this episode is written and directed by Ahsoka’s papa Dave Filoni

Your take on Ahsoka was so on-par with the rest of the fan base when theis first came out. Bar for bar, lololol. It was such a treat to see her

Here we go, we have arrived! Ahsoka's live-action debut. What an insanely good episode! Bo last week and now Ahsoka.🔥 They did such an amazing job with the casting—Rosario Dawson is the perfect choice for live-action Ahsoka. I'm already really looking forward to your reaction to the Ahsoka series, I can't wait! Another cool detail was that Morai can briefly be seen sitting on a branch while Mando is looking for Ahsoka.

I knew I was forgetting someone!!

I agree, voices change deeper as you get older.

MagicForce

For Ahsoka’s white sabers, As she had no more lightsabers at the end of the Clones Wars, she took those of an Inquisitor whom she killed and purified them, which made them go from red to white.

I predict that you'll get used to this Ahsoka pretty fast imHo.

Jaws

I was looking forward to this reaction all week and it did not disappoint! This episode is an all-time favorite of mine in the Star Wars universe. I'll never forget watching it for the first time I had a pretty similar reaction to you I was just giddy with excitement the whole time seeing Ahsoka in live action! You'd think the season peaks here but nope not yet!

Richard Ramirez

Her Lekku or hair couldnt be longer because the prostetics got damaged or fell off during the acrobatic or action scenes.. thats why its shorter...

Andres C

I was giggling in your intro when you thought Ahsoka would be teased until the season finale, not knowing you were just about to see her right at the start :D Thank you so much Abby, these videos make my day so much better :)

Sam
