That works out even better for me. 😁👍

Looking forward to watching this later. Will you be watching any of the other sequels? Or Cobra Kai?

I liked it more than I remembered. I remember loving it as a kid when I saw it in theaters, but last time, years ago, as an adult I think I it bothered me that everyone spoke English to each other even when Daniel-san wasn't around. And the secret technique was a bit... goofy. I mean the crane kick is pretty goofy too, but I remember when I used to follow MMA it basically being used in a UFC fight without the pose part by Lyoto Machida to knock out Randy Couture. Also, I did know a guy who was walking with a friend outside of a town who got jumped by a bunch of kids but scared them away by saying he knew karate and doing the crane kick pose (that and his larger, scarier friend was ready to throw down). His friend asked after, "Dude, why did you do the crane kick?", and he said, "They don't know I don't know karate". He replied, "Either did I until you did the crane kick". Anyway, if you can get past those nitpicks, there's a lot to like. I remember being unimpressed by the third one, but that's about all I remember.

I noticed this is premiering here at the same time it is on YT? Is that normal?

Glad I was able to watch at least half of it with you all!

I knew you’d love it. I’m glad you did because I guaranteed you that you would. It would have been so embarrassing if I was wrong. I really think you’ll like the third one also.

Both movies are great , for different reasons . Plus …. One of the BEST power ballads of the 80s. Pete Cetera …. between “The Glory of love” and “Next time I fall” is the 80s power ballad GOAT

Cobra Kai after KK3. 🐍 KK2 is underrated, loved the reaction.

Mark Knight

I had never seen this, I’m so glad I watched it. It was so good. I kind of had the wrong attitude about these movies when I was younger, I was so jaded. I was like “This would never happen.” Also, I had an annoying friend who took like a month’s worth of Karate, and thought he was a ninja🤣 So it kind of turned me off to these as a kid. As an adult I watched the first one, and realized I had missed the point of the story this movie was telling. I now keep an open mind whenever I watch movies. Not necessarily because of Karate Kid, more because my love of film has grown exponentially in the last decade.

Part 3 is worth watching but Cobra Kai is where u w/ get all the fighting u can handle!

Harvey Lee

Cobra Kai is amazing i think it's such a well done show and is a great continuation of the movies into a long form series .

Such a touching reaction from you when Daniel puts all of his chores together to block all of Mr Miyagis barrage of punches and kicks. My favorite scene. You’re the best forget the rest.
