Yes! Kate is my all-time favorite actress. Please continue with her filmography. Top tier recommendations are Bringing up Baby, The Philadelphia Story, and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. Those three will also get you Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, Spencer Tracy, and Sidney Poitier. On Golden Pond is terrific for a sample of her work in the later years. Rooster Cogburn matches her with John Wayne and is certainly worth a watch. Other personal favorites of mine are Little Women, Suddenly Last Summer, and The Rainmaker.

I was lucky enough to see this at the gorgeous Paramont Theater in Oakland. Favorite line: “I now pronounce you man and wife; proceed with the execution”

The story of the filming of this movie is a great one in its own right. And there was another movie spawned from that experience, "White Hunter, Black Heart" (1990) with Clint Eastwood playing the director John Huston. There is also I believe a documentary about the experiences of the cast in Africa. Edit: Famous films are famous for a reason. It's always about the story, not the effects. Great stories hold up through all of time. So don't worry, your audience knows that and will seldom recommend anything that doesn't hold up. Trust us as we trust you, ok? :)

I think Rosie’s reaction to the gin is that she doesn’t approve of alcohol.
