What better time to post this than while I’m here in L.A.! This made me so homesick for Los Angeles, whilst also cleverly poking so much fun at it… and now I get to revisit it all!!! This was a cute and quirky blast, I hope you enjoy it too! 🖤

No way!!! NOBODY reacts to this movie!!! One of my all-time favorites! I'm spinning with excitement - and possibly too much caffeine. I really need to quit this job "thing", so I can start watching now!

Here’s tough question Coby (because they’re both awesome places), which do you love more, New York, or L.A.??

Coby... the chemistry? They were married. Steve Martin and Victoria Tennant, the British actress in the film. Married 1986-1994...

At 9:14 of the movie (10:00 of the reaction) there is a full screenshot of the license plate: 2GAT1234. I always thought it must be a joke that I just didn’t get. I’ve tried reading it out loud, squinting my eyes to see if there’s a joke that I am just missing; but just couldn’t figure it out. I just looked it up and apparently it is a license plate that movies use as a placeholder. It’s like when they used to use 555 as a prefix in every movie and TV show because real people don’t have that prefix. There’s even a Wikipedia entry on 2GAT123. So my assumption is they are using such a clear shot of it to add to the commentary, explicitly satirizing artificial LA culture. At least that’s what it looks like. I feel like it’s too in your face to be accidental.
