Great episode. When discussing the 1968 Olympics, put respect on the names John Carlos and Tommie Smith. Didn’t hear their names mentioned when they were discussed. Read the John Carlos Story by John Carlos and Dave Zirin, also I recommend A People’s History of Sports in the United States by Dave Zirin - decent historical context when discussing the intersection of sports and people’s movements in so-called United States. John Carlos is someone I admire and is the most inspiring person I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so I needed to add my 2cents🙏🏼 Much thanks and solidarity 👊🏼🥊🥋
