dont worry, there are plenty more scenes like that in one piece, its always a little bit of a slowburn, but there will be more arcs like this and the themes will go even darker

Idk if this was ever said, but sometimes the titles will spoil, so eventually you should try and skip over them. One Piece is one of the biggest offenders of this 😭

Episode 37 is when a lot of people get hooked on the show just because how powerful that one scene is. Oda is also considered one of the top 10 authors of all time.

Yeah. I generally tend to think people are oversensitive when they say an episode title is spoilery, but in case of OP, it's a pretty big issue.

Meh, I don't think anything good is gonna come out of rushing it. Her pace is fine, and One Piece is not an anime you need to rush through anyway.

The Arlong Park arc setup One Piece pretty well. The world can be mess up. The marine aren't the best. And you get a lot of real emotional breakdowns. Luffy vision about pirates is freedom. Well beside when he close you as crew. Like with Sanji and Nami. Your crew wether you wanted or not 😅. And he get stock quite often😅.
