Anthony Caples

Amber, you could certainly cosplay as Ahsoka!

Karl Kraus

Ahsoka!!!!! This is the episode where fans of the clone wars and rebels shows got to see her in live action for the first time Top stuff right here! Rosario Dawson plays her and she is phenomenal! In the animated shows, she's voiced by ashley eckstein

Anthony Caples

Also, Ahsoka was Anakin Skywalker’s padawan apprentice from the Clone Wars animated series. Rosario Dawson playing her in live action was perfect casting! She has her own series for you to watch!

Karl Kraus

the title isn't pointing to ahsoka because she left the Order years ago For full details, the clone wars season 5 will show you what happened It might be pointing to the jedi that may help train Grogu Also, to find who grand admiral thrawn is, watch star wars rebels season 3 and 4 AND you'll be seeing the resolution to what ahsoka is searching for in her show that came out 3 years ago A super long wait for answers

Theo Harris

Ahsoka has her own series as well

Karl Kraus

the woman who ahsoka fights is bruce lee's goddaughter, diana lee inosanto I find that insanely awesome to have that little thread connected to star wars

Karl Kraus

yoda passed away during return of the jedi (episode 6) you definitely need to rewatch all nine movies, in release order of course

Daniel Johnston

Sadly, at this point Yoda has already rejoined the Living Force. Grogu’s destiny lies along a different path. This series begins 5 years after The Return of the Jedi, the film where Yoda died. Beskar is a unique element in the galaxy, as it’s one of only a few things a lightsaber can’t cut instantly and it’s also the most resilient against their damage among even those few.

Steven Costa

My all time favorite Star Wars character. Ahsoka Tano has a troubled story arc. As Anakin's padawan, she feels she should have helped him more to keep him from the dark side. When Anakin asked her to rejoin the Jedi Order (where she said no) he gave her recrafted lightsabers, including the off-hand shoto saber. He had her learn the Jar'Kai dual-wielding fighting style several years before. I have a set of Ahsoka lightsabers autographed by Ashley Eckstein (Clone Wars voice actor). In the season 2 finale of Star Wars Rebels, Ahsoka faces off against Darth Vader. When he tells her that he destroyed Anakin, she says that she will avenge him. Vader says "vengeance is not the Jedi way", to which Ahsoka replies "I am no Jedi". One of the best clips on YT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ejt84-uJXa4

Ahsoka Tano is most definitely a bad ass!!!

I don't know why exactly, but Rosario Dawson's character in Tarantino' Death Proof reminds me of Amber. It's not like a twinsies thing, though...they don't really look alike.

SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball

Rosario Dawson was also awesome in Clerks II and Death Proof (Tarantino Grind House production).

Marc Lamoureux

Rosario Dawson is gorgeous right out of the box! Although...they had to go and give her blue eyes in this one (or are they green?) 😩 I suppose it works for the character, but...still. Now I'm gonna have to go watch Tarantino's Death Proof (2007)...or Clerks II...or MIB II...just to get more of this Rosario fix! And her character in this is a very enjoyable bad ass chick! Pretty calm and reserved...yet sultry at the same time. And that big chick fight towards the end reminded me of that big Beatrix/O-Rin fight at the end of Kill Bill 1. It's crazy that we've gone a season and a half with Mando NOT knowing Grogu's name. It never dawned on me that he had never called him by name!

Chris Orlando

That last standoff reminded me of Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu going at it in Kill Bill.

Drew Bolyard

Ahsoka has been around for awhile and is a fascinating character... this is the first live action version of her, and Rosario Dawson is perfect as the older Ahsoka... all of prior Ahsoka was in the animated series "The Clone Wars" and "Star Wars: Rebels"... she was the Padawan of Anakin Skywalker during the time of the clone wars (between Episode II- "Attack of the Clones" and Ep. III- "Revenge of the Sith"... there are many wonderful episodes of both those animated series that fill in quite a lot of essential Ahsoka lore. Glad you enjoyed this episode and hope you watch both the "Book of Boba Fett" after this season of "The Mandalorian" and before season 3, as well as the Ahsoka series.

Amber, You gotta do a Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka Tano in live action) deep dive: Sin City (2005; 2014) The Askew-verse (Jay & Silent Bob series of films) Seven Pounds (Dawson and Will Smith) Daredevil (Netflix/Disney+ series and MCU adjacent)

Thomas McGlinchey

Thinking more of Gail from Sin City, with Rosario being the Queen of the night… She always plays the strong female leads (even in a movie full of stars like Sin City) Amber is always the Queen of the reactions…

Marc Lamoureux

two of my absolute favorites of her roles!

mecuskerd

Good episode....l haven't seen a lot of Rosario Dawson's movies, but the one that stands out for me is Unstoppable with Denzel Washington and Chris Pine. It's a true story of a runaway train in rural Pennsylvania and she's the Station Master. Really good movie 🍿

Steven Costa

The Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth is played by Diana Lee Inosanto. Her Enforcer Lang is played by Michael Biehn. You might remember him from The Terminator (Kyle Reese) or Aliens (Corporal Hicks). The big rhino thing is a mudhorn and they Mando adapted it as his sigil. Yoda passed in Episode 6 after they rescued Han, Luke returned to Dagobah. When I first saw this, I was loving seeing Ahsoka in live action for the first time, but about crapped my self when she mentioned Grand Admiral Thrawn. The planet Tython was the original home of the Jedi over 1000 years ago.

SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball

Yeah, that follow on Jedi series Disney put together with her as lead, was an absolute disaster. Uffda, what a waste of time for Star Wars fans and her acting talent.

SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball

Oh, let's not forget Mike's outstanding roles in: The Abyss (1989) as Lieutenant Hiram "Hiram" Coffey, U.S. Navy SEAL. The Rock (1996) as Commander Charles Anderson, USN Two outstanding movies. Just a damn shame he started to get typecast after that. You know what would be an awesome flick for Rockstar to jam with? Navy SEALs, man. She'd dig that flick!

Charles Allen

Definitely need to watch The Clone Wars and Rebels animated series for more backstory and context

Jaxon Fierce

YesssMeet Anakin Skywalkers Padawan Ahsoka Tano. played by Rosario Dawson

Venture619

Band of brothers, we stand alone together. Documentary, please

SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball

Oh she kicks ass in Sin City! Amber would so dig that Frank Miller noir epic! BTW, Amber, Sin City was shot completely in Green Screen, everything added was VFX! Oh, and Jessic Alba! Now there's a Cosplay you'd rock!

Thomas McGlinchey

It still blows my mind that the voice and puppetry that is for Yoda is the same person for Miss Piggy of the Muppets. Also, for Jim Henson to have given up the opportunity to be in the Star Wars franchise to benefit his dear friend, Frank Oz, shows that the Henson legacy was about inclusion and happiness…

WhoDey Dave

If you like Ashoka, you should check out her series on Disney+. She has her own series. It was just one season. There’s some pretty good special guests on that one. Obi One also has his own series
